09/08/2025: A nice place, modern, convivial, informal, where up to now I have only had take-away food: focaccia and couscous, very good, served with courtesy and a smile, which never hurts.

07/09/2025: We decided to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday at Amalia Laghi's restaurant. I was very pleased, and we made a great impression on our guests. Our table was on the panoramic terrace on a gorgeous evening. The table was tastefully set, though not overly formal. We opted for the fish menu, and all the dishes were excellent, beautifully plated, tasty, and never boring. A good wine paired with the menu. The service was impeccable, well-paced, and the waiters were very kind and attentive. I'm very satisfied.

07/09/2025: Compliments to all the chefs and all the staff, and like a song a bestial Sunday, super top waiters, impeccable dishes compliments recommended...... 6 star location.

17/08/2025: Good pizza, although the prices are definitely too high. The big problem was the wait. We arrived at 9:30 PM, and at 10:00 PM the table still wasn't ready. We were seated at 10:10 PM, and our order wasn't taken until over half an hour later, only because we called a waitress (the older one, who was really nice), otherwise I don't know how much longer we would have had to wait.

12/08/2025: I was disappointed by the €3 increase for a cover charge (a flimsy paper tablecloth) and €3 for a 75cl bottle of water. A classic calzone with poor-quality cooked ham, which I also paid a €2 surcharge for simply because I opted for ricotta instead of fior di latte. I was disappointed to note that compared to recent times, not only has the price increased, but the quality has also declined.

30/08/2025: Excellent food, perfect breakfast, amazing croissants, and definitely the pastry chef's touch, though I highly doubt he's local. Truly huge and delicious, with a wide selection and reasonable prices. For aperitivo, La Vaga Matta is now a historic spot. It's fair to say that between Pontedera and Fornacette, it's set the standard and led the way, even if it's recently raised its prices. In any case, a must-see for the Valdera area. Well done!

14/08/2025: Nice place, welcoming staff, attentive to the needs of a family. Good food quality. They also offer side dishes and meat in addition to carbohydrates. The price is more than reasonable. The coffee is also good. The pastry shop is worth trying.

14/07/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice. The place is spacious and even has an outdoor area for kids to play in (a plus). The pizza is very good. There's also karaoke on weekends, but we noticed that the man in charge doesn't seem to be crazy about kids 😂, so maybe we're wrong. Anyway, I recommend it.

29/06/2025: We ate very well (appetizer and pizza round) and a lot (pane cunzato EXCELLENT) and drank a lot too The children ate a lot and had a lot of fun (games in the fenced outdoor space = relaxation for the parents). Huge groups plus à la carte tables ZERO HITCHES NICE STAFF AVAILABLE AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE!!! Despite the thousands of requests from mothers for the children and despite the children practically eating à la carte. And a vegetarian (my wife). And a wedding Applause indeed!! 28/05/2025: To say that the pizza is good, means that you have never eaten a truly good pizza. The dough was absolutely tasteless, the toppings were only put in the center, leaving almost the entire edge without anything, and in addition, the toppings were completely separated from the rest, so either you ate the toppings or you ate the dough, impossible to eat both together. Before the pizza we had seafood salad, and they brought a tray with fish that was all frozen, and that tasted of nothing except vinegar. But the absurd thing was that they didn't want to change the dishes, and they wanted us to eat the pizza right there on those dishes, tasting like salad and vinegar. We had to insist. Even the wine was more water than wine, and they don't even have draft beer, but only 33cl bottles. The staff is unfriendly and rude. So, before saying that the pizza is good, go eat it where it is truly good. 30/07/2025: Well, the area is industrial, the place is large and sparse, more like a lunch spot than a dinner spot, but nevertheless, it's welcoming in its own way. The pizza is very good, with top-notch ingredients, impressive desserts, fair prices, short wait times, friendly staff, but... the selection of after-dinner drinks is limited. Maybe I'll return; second impressions are usually more accurate. But the overall impression is more than positive.

05/05/2025: Per motivi di lavoro sono passata da Pontedera e mi sono fermata a Fammilume, locale molto carino a ridosso della zona pedonale. Ho mangiato un croccante di semi misti con burrata e acciughe e un tagliolino al nero di seppia con pomodorini vongole e bottarga. Personale di sala simpatico ed accogliente Rapporto qualità prezzo molto onesta Consigliatissimo!!!

03/05/2025: Posto carino, piatti buoni ma poca quantità nei piatti, personale troppo presente quasi asfissiante, prezzo eccessivo ( 24€ x 2 antipasti: 3 fette di prosciutto 4 croccole e un po’ di formaggio spalmabile a testa, secondo piatto 38€ x 4 fettine di tagliata di manzo con 4/5 fettine sottili di patate al forno a testa, un tiramisù, un caffè, 1/2 l di vino e coperto 85€) non ci tornerei

21/07/2025: Absolutely disappointed in every way. I didn't think I'd have to write something like this... I came at 3:30 pm on July 21, 2025. The woman was incredibly rude. We found chips that were 2 days old. When I asked for decent chips (since we weren't entitled to anything else), I was told that with the aperitif I shouldn't even be entitled to what I found on the counter, but that they were leftovers from the morning. Incredible rudeness. Unfortunately, they've lost 2 regular customers.

21/06/2025: Very noisy and annoying environment, strong headaches are guaranteed like bread in the morning at the baker's. Very dark place where you can see very little and therefore makes it unsafe. Packed with people both inside and out. Average-low quality-price ratio depending on what you take. I've been there once in the evening and never went back and I will never go back but every time I pass by there in the evening, being along the center of Pontedera, it's more or less the same thing. Impossible to hear what someone might say to you, in this place having even a very short conversation is impossible, given the very high music. I feel sorry for the people who live near this place and who almost always have to put up with all the confusion.

09/04/2025: The food wasn't bad, we took pizzas/schiacciatas with particular combinations that we liked, even if one pizza was rather burnt. Shame about the staff who were rude.

12/05/2025: Place located near the center of Pontedera, 2 minutes walk from the Corso Centrale which crosses the city: we came across this place after trying others in the area, because we like change and honestly we were positively happy. Welcoming place, very well looked after, clean and attentive to every detail: the staff is very kind and attentive towards customers. The menu, as in many places now, can be read through an app by scanning the QR code of the place placed on the table: an activity that has several seats with a dome-shaped wood-fired oven, very beautiful and characteristic. The food is quite varied with prices and promotions that can be used for both dinner and lunch: they certainly have business lunches and promotions are also available for dinner, with platters, pizza menus and more. For less than 18 euros you can easily eat and go out with a full belly: the choice of desserts is a little limited, but as we know, not everyone is interested in them at the end of the meal. Better a good coffee! We have already been to this place twice and will definitely return. We recommend it to everyone!!
