02/01/2025: Small restaurant and shop selling delicious typical Tuscan products. We were a group of 18 people and we all ate very well. The country appetizer with vegetables in oil is truly delicious, like the Florentine steak. Excellent quality/price ratio and also top service with the bitters offered. Highly recommend if you are in the area

21/09/2024: Returning from a trip to Liguria we booked this restaurant based on the reviews and I must say that we did really well! Surprisingly we were welcomed with extreme courtesy and attention. The simple and well-kept environment but above all extremely clean toilets. The cut is excellent and we also recommend the pici with Tuscan white ragù! Another decidedly positive note is the hot bread served during the second courses, truly appreciated. Well done, we will definitely be back!

20/09/2024: I went with two friends for lunch during the week, being on holiday we chose the closest place with the best reviews. When we arrived it looked like a typical 80s tavern, empty, but appearances were deceiving. Inside, the place is well-kept, with a good selection of wines, both typical and from all over Italy. Simple but varied menu, excellent first and second courses (the Fiorentina was AMAZING); easy but friendly service, and good value for money. Summary, for a Florentine steak weighing more than one kg, 2 starters, 1 first course, 2 side dishes, 3 drinks, 1 water, 2 coffees, you spend €130. Highly recommended!

27/01/2025: Non ordinare assolutamente pietanze di pesce insalata di mare calda no, frittura calamari e gamberi no cruda oliosa così come le patatine fritte, praticamente è rimasto tutto nel piatto,la pizza si separava la farcitura in un solo pezzo dal sotto .

Cibo saporito,come facevano i nonni un tempo, per gustare meglio la bistecca abbiamo ordinato un mix di verdure...le patate arrosto sono una bontà!!!! Qualità -prezzo eccezionale Peccato che non ho foto,le farò la prossima volta!!

03/02/2025: During our visit to the village of Lari and the famous Martelli pasta factory, we decided to have lunch at the I Burattinai restaurant, attracted by their choice to use Martelli pasta. We opted for spaghetti carbonara and sausage, which turned out to be a dish full of flavor and a risotto with porcini mushrooms, creamy and well seasoned. We couldn't resist the temptation to try the prawns wrapped in lard, a real delight for the palate! To end on a high note, we let ourselves be seduced by the Tuscan cantuccini accompanied by vin santo, at the suggestion of the staff. The culinary experience offered by I Burattinai was so satisfying that we already plan to return. A place definitely recommended for those looking for traditional dishes prepared with skill and quality ingredients.
