We discovered La Bottega di Canfreo and were truly won over. An authentic place, rich in charm and tradition, where every detail speaks of a passion for the region and its excellence. A visit to the splendid cheese aging cellar is a must: an evocative setting that makes the experience even more special. The typical dishes are prepared with the highest-quality ingredients, enhancing the authentic flavors of tradition. Each course is a pleasure for the palate and conveys all the care with which it is crafted. Special praise goes to all the staff, who welcomed us with great professionalism, friendliness, and a genuine smile, making us feel at home. La Bottega di Canfreo is much more than a restaurant: it is an experience to be enjoyed and remembered. A place I recommend to anyone who loves good food, excellent products, and authenticity. After a relaxing afternoon at the nearby Casciana hot springs, we decided to dine in this charming Tuscan village, home to the imposing and fascinating Lari Castle. We couldn't have made a better choice: dinner at this delicatessen restaurant. The welcome, service, and food were all spot on and appropriate. The selection of dishes from the "Made in England" menu was also very nice. Accompanied by a glass of red wine, we ordered a Canfreo platter with excellent cured meats from the town's leading butcher, along with a selection of pecorino cheeses, both mature and not. The appetizer was Lari seafood with anchovies and sardines. The first course included spaghetti cacio e pepe, always tasty and popular, and a very spicy spaghetti del Tafferuglio, rich in chili pepper. The homemade desserts were also excellent, including the ricotta and fig tart and the torta della nonna. All delicious. To round out the visit, we visited the spectacular ancient cave, deep underground, where the Busti family's cheeses are preserved.

What can I say... simply a fantastic experience. A small osteria where you can taste and buy Lari's products. All topped off with Isbel's friendliness and professionalism... truly extraordinary. You can't pass by Lari and not stop here!!! We'll be back!

We were thrilled! Even though we arrived spontaneously on a Monday at 2 pm, we easily got a table for four. The service was consistently attentive, warm, and very friendly. Communicating in English was also no problem at all. The restaurant is rather small and cozy – there are only a few tables inside, supplemented by some seating on the terrace. But that's precisely what gives it its special charm: small but perfectly formed! The appetizers were excellent, especially the various bruschetta and the baked cheese with honey. My personal highlight, however, was the truffle pasta – simply fantastic! Overall, all the dishes were truly delicious and of high quality. We also particularly enjoyed the small shop area with local specialties such as olive oil, wine, and other regional delicacies. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

If you want to go out for dinner with a group of about 12 people, you really have to try this; it is top-notch squared!

Recommended by friends, we went to this lovely restaurant. Excellent selection of quality products (cheeses and cured meats) and very friendly service. We enjoyed the spaghetti cacio e pepe, their specialty spaghettoni, and their homemade desserts. The rice cake was superb. The price was more than reasonable.
