03/10/2025: Because it was already quite cold in early October, we sat inside. The interior was very nice and modern. Delicious food and wonderful service.
30/09/2025: A cool late summer evening. We dined outside under the olive trees. The setting was charming. Dishes were carefully prepared and cooked with extreme care. Quality ingredients, with some items always cooked over a wood fire. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The price was slightly above average, but considering everything, it was worth it.

19/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The pasta was outstanding. We even had the house's own olive oil for sale. The service was very attentive and spoke English. Simply fantastic. Because we rented a small house in the complex, we received an additional 10% discount – a great bonus. There's also live music on Fridays – and you can relax in hammocks among the olive trees in the garden. A great location not far from the center of Forte. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

28/08/2025: We stopped for lunch by chance, as it's located on the way home from vacation. It was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, the service is quick and courteous. The food is excellent, from the shop's platter to the tortelli. The ricotta and spinach ravioli are a special treat: you can taste the quality of the ingredients. We skipped the main courses because we wanted dessert, but judging by the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen, they're definitely worth it! Everything is delicious. For those in the area who haven't tried it yet, go and try it.
Highly recommended!!!

Cibo ottimo ed ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti ben curati.
Parcheggio comodo che non guasta mai.
È veramente da raccomandare!

22/10/2025: We stayed 5 nights last week (mid-October) and had a wonderful time: the hospitality, cleanliness, and strategic location are the strong points. Mrs. Serena was very kind. Ms. Asia is excellent at giving massages. We had such a great time, in fact, we stayed one more night than originally planned. The hospitality we received from our big dog was also wonderful. We hope to return.

Trattoria Pozzo di Bugia

24/10/2025: What can I say? Unsatisfactory.
I had been to this place with satisfaction about two years ago and returned last night.
I'm not questioning the quality of the food, which is trattoria-like; the problem is the completely absurd and out-of-place prices.
We dined on a sort of giant veranda enclosed by plastic sheeting and with the table set with plastic placemats, with brisk and hasty service, which quickly degenerated into rudeness if you spoke to the waiter.
We had a mixed antipasto, which you can't choose but must fill the table. It was the only course with any substance, but still inadequate for the price. Ditto for the main courses. My wife and I had a chicken tagliata and a chicken curry, at the modest price of €30 a portion, of insufficient quality. From the wine list, barely under €50, the waiter recommended "an excellent Bolgheri" (priced over €50!) which was absolutely not worth the price.
Total for the evening: €85 per person for 4 people, discount included.
But I'm not going to go there. Tuscany is full of trattorias that cook better and charge the right price. I certainly won't be returning.

19/08/2025: The pizza is certainly not the best in the region. The price is commensurate: very cheap. We had a really hard time ordering because the lady was very annoyed, wanting to do everything quickly; we felt unwelcome in this pizzeria from the very first moment. It was obvious that she didn't want to serve us. Perhaps it was because we were there with two small children. The lady (owner) obviously didn't speak English, but spoke a little quickly in Italian. All attempts to explain things to her via online translator failed. But I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas weren't moist, so it's not worth it. The atmosphere is okay.
