29/04/2025: io e la mia compagna siamo venuti a prendere d’asporto più e più volte, il cibo è molto buono, il menù vario, i prezzi sono di mercato salvo qualche piccola eccezione ma comunque passabile, la pecca è il servizio, infrasettimanalmente ho chiamato per prenotare da asporto due pinse alle 20:20 e mi sono state consegnate alle 20:30, preferirei sentirmi dire dieci minuti di più piuttosto che perdere tempo, la puntualità sul luogo di lavoro non è una cortesia, specialmente se si verifica in più di un’occasione, detto ciò è comunque un ottimo locale, lo raccomanderei a tutti coloro che vogliono mangiare bene senza spendere troppo

24/03/2025: Truly an unexpected discovery. When love and passion for cooking take shape in the most unexpected places, pleasure and admiration are even deeper. Nice, informal place, with a beautiful fireplace. We tasted 3 first courses: traditional local tortelli, very well made with a truly perfect ragù, tagliatelle with rabbit sauce, truly intense and without "compromises for the diet", duck "buttons" with orange cream, truly a masterstroke for idea, execution and enjoyment... all rigorously made (very well) at home. Really good house red wine, simple, genuine and undemanding. The desserts do not disappoint: tart with fig and walnut jam (good but not excellent), chestnut flour crepes with Nutella, basically worth the trip alone. Silent and peaceful garden where we had an aperitif. Closing with a taste of the maraschino (crazy!!) produced by the chef we can reveal the excellent price of €57 for 2. If you fancy a few curves (not too many...) don't miss out on this corner of quality cuisine...

19/05/2025: Very charming, beautiful location and a special, rustic place to stay and eat. The food is very good. We have stayed here and eaten here many times and love it. We always bring friends along and they always love it too. Very nice people.

09/05/2025: My girlfriend and I stopped here for Easter Monday lunch. The dishes served (as well as the service) were really tasty. The staff, despite having full tables and a lot of work to do, never lost their smile not even once. Very nice and approachable. We also thank you for having us at very short notice. We left (aside from being a little sad to leave that beautiful place) with some purchases that I highly recommend: Acacia honey produced by them, super good and delicate and also their very particular jams.

18/05/2025: We end up at Cavallino Bianco by chance, tempted by the typical dishes of Garfagnana and... surprise! We are catapulted to Naples! Gennaro, histrionic host, cook and waiter, overwhelms us with his enthusiasm and hospitality. We try grandma's meatballs, delicious, Neapolitan lasagna (for those who don't know them, the advice is to ask them to describe them, they are delicious, but far from the Bolognese ones), excellent, and the caprese cake, which is served hot, graceful. Gennaro insists on us trying his babà, which is a work of art. Excellent prices. We will definitely be back, even with friends.

13/05/2025: In my opinion, a welcoming place, good pizza and service from the staff. They also make pizza at lunchtime, which is very rare based on my research.

04/05/2025: Beautiful discovery in this little village. The food is really good. The cheese starter is superb as are the first courses with wild boar and roe deer. All excellent and really well done. We didn't have the second courses but the meat dishes that were displayed among the various tables were really inviting (to be returned to try). The lady who served us was very kind and nice. Good service. Excellent quality/price ratio.

26/05/2025: Francesca was a tremendous host, food was delicious (cold platter and pasta) and atmosphere was great with proud locals talking about the town and its surroundings… Looking forward for next time!!!

11/05/2025: I stopped for an aperitif, I was satisfied. Good sprizt and accompanied by various appetizers. Fair price. Reading other reviews I will definitely return to try pizza and focaccia

14/01/2025: Bar, ice cream shop also offers very good savory pieces and pizzas and flatbreads also to take away. Attentive and kind staff. Prices average for the area.
