04/03/2025: Two weeks ago, passing through Rome, we called for lunch, and in five minutes he found us a table for four. Typical Tuscan rustic trattoria, excellent food and wine. Honest prices.

Abbiamo gustato un ottimo tortino di bietola e scamorza come antipasto. Tra i primi, i tortelli di patate al ragù erano abbondanti e gustosi, mentre i "nudi" di cavolo nero erano una vera delizia. I dolci hanno concluso in bellezza: un dolce al bicchiere con ricotta, mele e cannella e dei bignè con crema di mascarpone. Originale l’idea di servire il caffè con la moka al tavolo. Prezzo adeguato, esperienza da ripetere. Consigliatissimo!

30/08/2024: We were a group of 15 friends and chose to eat there for the birthday of one of us, great choice! It really was a magical lunch in the middle of Tuscan hills. We enjoyed eating the local products prepared by the wonderful hosts. Thank you for your welcome, we had a wonderful time thanks to you !

08/03/2025: I ate the pizza, which was too thin for my taste, then I had it with cooked ham, which was cooked so it became dry and salty, in short, I wasn't 100% satisfied.

02/11/2024: Great smooth and strong espresso that doesn’t even need sugar to taste good. Wonderful cappuccino with the most delicious tasting milk ever! Italian whole milk surpasses American milk in taste and quality. They also have gluten free hazelnut flour biscotti that is great to dip in your coffee. Makes me feel not so sad about not being able to eat all their yummy looking pastries. You can also get a caffe affogato, which is icecream in coffee. Yes, they serve icecream as well!
Two of the women who regularly work here are friendly and professional. I just witnessed one on an early Saturday morning effortlessly and efficiently help a rush of customers, all by herself!
Oh and dog-friendly, as is much of Italy. So different from the US!

20/02/2025: Top, food with cheeses, fruit and meat all of their own excellent production. Excellent ice cream shop. Nursery complete with everything and on weekends you can have a picnic in their park and be outdoors. I go there many times and I really like it

22/02/2025: Locale con vista su la valle del Mugello. Attento e professionale il servizio. Ottima la scelta di far assaggiare l'olio italiano di qualità come benvenuto. Pochi piatti ma ben fatti in particolare il piccione nel tegame per me di ottima esecuzione. Prezzo un po alto ma considerando tutto il rapporto qualità prezzo e giusto. Pasta fatta in casa. Da cosigliare.
21/01/2025: Recensisco sia la cena che la stanza dove ho pernottato. Buono il prezzo complessivo ed il fatto che il personale è molto simpatico e professionale.
Parlando della cena, ho apprezzato l'illuminazione particolare dei tavoli e sia la bruschetta che il calice di vino bianco che mi sono stati offerti. Il primo con carne di cervo buono e abbondante, per renderlo perfetto bastava aggiungere un pizzico di sale ma è stata comunque un'ottima esperienza. Le patate al forno si potevano mangiare anche se servite con buccia e (forse anche per colpa di questo?) una aveva un retrogusto leggermente muffo. Infine, il dolce della casa ai mirtilli purtroppo l'ho trovato quasi senza sapore.
Parlando della camera, ciò che mi ha aspettato è stato esattamente quanto scritto dal sito della Locanda; ovvero uno spazio ampio in cui stare con un bel panorama verso l'esterno. Gli arredi sono presenti ma sono di fattura minimale; personalmente ho trovato il letto comodo e l'aspiratore del bagno un po' troppo rumoroso. In camera è poi presente un condizionatore che ho usato come pompa di calore; il difetto è l'impianto di riscaldamento che non è sempre attivo quindi è capitato di non avere né i termosifoni né l'acqua calda disponibili.
Complessivamente se dovessi capitare di nuovo a Vicchio proverei prima altri ristoranti e sistemazioni, ma non mi dispiacerebbe tornare anche qui.

Antipasto coccoli prosciutto e stracchino abbondante ,uno per due , molto buono soprattutto il prosciutto.
