16/12/2025: A "rustic" place, with truly attentive and friendly service. I really liked the menu, written on several sheets of paper taped to a structure at the entrance. The pici all'aglione were delicious, and the meat was good quality. I can't comment on the price because I was offered the meal.
06/12/2025: The food was excellent. I had a very generous and delicious traditional appetizer, including a divine fillet with mushrooms and lard. I'll definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

06/01/2026: At lunchtime, it's always too crowded, everything is rushed, and orders sometimes come out wrong. Overall, the meals are good.
03/01/2026: Extremely shocked!!!!….Absolutely rude, impolite, and unprofessional staff….I didn't even get any food, they didn't even serve it….While we were waiting at the counter, an employee yelled at us very loudly inside the restaurant that something wasn't working and that they wouldn't serve us!!!! We really won't set foot in the restaurant again!!!!.🤬🤬😤😡🤬

11/01/2026: Excellent food, no doubt! But as a Chianina native, I say: pici are called pici precisely because they "stick" together. These aren't pici, but a way to speed up their preparation!

20/08/2025: The place would be nice, but I wouldn't recommend anyone going there in the summer. The outside area consists of a covered terrace where it's hot and there's no view; the inside is even hotter because I believe there's no air conditioning. I ordered the pizza, which, although it had a good topping, seemed to be made with a pre-cooked crust and was still too thin. My companions who ordered the pasta dishes also found them good.

01/12/2025: Menchetti's pizza is a sure thing! Delicious pizza by the slice, eat it in or take out, a huge selection, top quality! And then there's all kinds of bread, breadsticks, schiacciate, biscuits and cantucci, pastries, panforte, and at Christmas, panettone of every kind! For me, coming from Romagna, every time I pass through these parts, a stop is a must! And every time I come, I bring back supplies 😜 even the pinsa bases now! Fabulous!!!!
29/11/2025: The service was slow and indifferent. We felt like we were a nuisance. We left!

23/03/2025: Eravamo si passaggio e abbiamo deciso di fermarci per cena. Personale gentilissimo, materia prima ottima cucinata in modo perfetto. 👍
26/01/2025: Nel viaggio di ritorno da Perugia ci siamo fermati a Foiano della Chiana, il paese è piccolo e per mangiare ci hanno indicato questo locale.
Trattoria tipica che da fuori da più l'idea di un negozio che di un ristorante, dentro il locale è sufficientemente spazioso con un bancone posto in fondo alla sala.
Piatti molto buoni, gli affettati (davvero notevoli), i crostini caldi e i pici sia al ragu bianco di Chianina sia al tartufo.
Le porzioni sono abbondanti, il servizio amichevole svolto da persone che danno l'impressione di amarer il proprio lavoro
Prezzi nella norma.

04/05/2025: Evitate questo posto , alla cassa per gentilezza dico di inserire 2 bicchieri di acqua insieme al caffè , la signora subito addebita 1 euro ( 50 cen per un bicchiere di acqua) , mi avvicino al banco e non posso fare a meno di notare che il barista con il caffe serve un bicchiere di acqua in omaggio , la signora si accorge della situazione si avvicina al ragazzo e di fronte a noi bisbiglia nell orecchio :" a loro mettila su un bicchiere diverso perché l'ho fatta pagare ".
Avrei preferito darlo in beneficienza 1 euro che essere preso in giro così , talvolta la faccia vale più di 1 euro .

09/12/2023: Di passaggio per lavoro, leggendo le recensioni speravo meglio. Il ragù prometteva bene ma ho deciso di prendere un secondo che non era un gran che , tiepido e un po’ misero. Nella media di un punto pranzo qualsiasi.
29/08/2023: Ottimo il raporto qualita’ - prezzo. Cucina top, servizio top e prezzo top.
Consiglio sinceramente.

31/03/2024: Ristorante un po’ fuori mano , perché se non lo conosci non lo trovi . Portate nella norma senza un picco di esaltazione e neanche un pentimento perché ci sei venuto . Location comunque carina .
