13/04/2024: I really liked the place, just a stone's throw from the beach, a good place to invigorate yourself, the pizzas were really good, and the dishes were fresh, we wanted to discover Sicilian dishes, so we tried to ask the service if we could try some of the antipasti and she brought us a platter of mignardise with a bit of everything, it's adorable, we enjoyed it, the only small negative point is the red wine, it wasn't great unfortunately , but hey it's the risk, I recommend in any case!

02/10/2023: Il miglior cannolo di San Vito lo Capo! Ottima anche la genovese (noi l'abbiamo provata solo alla ricotta, ma c'è anche alla crema, al pistacchio e alla Nutella). Gentili e sorridenti. Consigliatissimo!

27/09/2023: Pessima esperienza. Siamo entrati nel negozio per una granita. Il contenitore con il ghiaccio era sciolto e con un brutto colore. Perciò non abbiamo preso nulla. La titolare si è talmente arrabbiata che ha iniziato ad inveire dicendo che quella era la migliore pasticceria del paese. Noi che ci eravamo seduti sui divanetti nel frattempo ci siamo alzati e lei continuava ad urlare, forse anche invogliata dalla signora anziana che le raccontava quello che stavamo dicendo. Alla fine un cannolo lo abbiamo preso, chi lo ha mangiato ha detto che non era male...ma l'acido della titolare sicuramente non aiuta! Cara Signora..cambi mestiere, è meglio!

29/10/2023: On our way to Trapani we stopped in this bar, with a 3 month old baby girl and a 5 kg elderly dog... given the heat and the scorching sun we certainly couldn't stay outside but the owner (who is worse than a beast) he rudely tells us that the dog cannot enter. First of all, according to the law, dogs can enter, but regardless of this he kicked us out with, I repeat, a three-month-old baby! And the seats outside were in the sun since he hadn't even opened the umbrellas! Luckily I didn't even have time to consume anything, this is the example that compared to the owner my dog ​​is a gentleman, much more polite and humane than this unclean being who was behind the counter. 01/11/2023: Ice cream- gelato was absolutely next level. Went here most days out of my 8 day holiday in San Vito lo Capo. Pistachio, baccio, dark chocolate, and various other deliciousness I can't pronounce.... Best ice cream of my life. I've also had coffee and waffles from here. Nice staff, table service.

06/05/2024: Poor price/performance ratio We wanted to end the last evening of our vacation with a nice dinner. The restaurant looked inviting from the outside and the menu didn't sound bad. Overall it was a bitter disappointment. Five different restaurant employees came to the table one after the other every minute to sell additional services. That was annoying! After average starters (caprese and bruschetta), the main courses were served. In particular, the Frittura Mista for 18 euros was a joke: six calamari rings, two prawns, a mini squid. Very manageable. Conclusion: walk a few meters further, there are many alternatives in town!

25/04/2024: Location tipica e meravigliosa Proprietari premurosi e penso di talento… qualche piccola pecca nella scelta del personale che ovviamente fa il tutto per soldi e non per passione… la recensione negativa andrebbe fatta prima di tutto allo stato italiano, le sue leggi, e il modo barbaro di rubare soldi ai lavoratori. Chiaramente comprendo difficoltà nel trovare personale al top. Ma basta saper coccolare i propri dipendenti e le cose si aggiustano. Il punteggio basso lo devo dare per via di un piatto ordinato e le cotture vanno rispettate. Soprattutto se è l’alimento è il pesce.

04/11/2023: Nous nous sommes régalés en famille. Le patron tient aussi un petit hôtel en centre ville ( 5 chambres magnifiques) il nous a recommandé de venir manger le soir. Nous avons été reçus comme des rois. Il nous a fait goûter toutes les spécialités de la Sicile à un moindre coût. Équipe très sympa !💗

22/10/2023: Excellent restaurant qu’on a découvert par hasard. Le service très convivial. Le vous vous aux fruits de mer vaut le détour à lui seul. Le tout sur une terrasse qui donne sur la plage.

12/10/2023: Nothing to complain about...I'll just tell you I was there in September for the couscous festival...and honestly I tried to eat in other places but in the end I came back more and more times to them at the paradise tavern... which actually has two other places, one open only for dinner and another that makes excellent aperitifs, sandwiches and cocktails... Three venues worth 5⭐/5 ⭐

21/10/2023: Sehr gute Location mit sehr netter engagierter Bedienung: leider war das Essen nur Mittelmaß. Die Pasta alla Scoglio war enttäuschend schlecht, gleichwohl teuer. Der Sud fast fettig und die Meeresfrüchte verkocht. Bemerkenswert war wie schnell das Essen nach Aufgabe der Bestellung kam. Das dauerte keine 5 Minuten. Vermutlich ist hier wie in einer Kantine bereits alles fertig gekocht.

20/10/2023: Ci ispirava vedendo gente che aspettava per mangiare, forse incuriositi come noi di farci una cenetta soddisfacente. Premetto quando abbiamo cenato ai tavoli esterni erano tutti stranieri tranne una coppia e noi. Ci eravamo fermate per il risotto al pescatore e quando il signore un po’ smemorato si è ricordato di noi per la comanda, ci dice che il risotto al pescatore è terminato ( erano le ore 19.45!!). Ci propone lo spaghettone mare in festa che ci dice praticamente è uguale al risotto, solo chiedo guardando gli ingredienti delle info riguardanti i pomodorini che il signore ci dice essere freschi tagliati a metà. Lo proviamo. Ci arrivano 2 piatti, anche carini alla vista, ma le cozze e vongole dentro un conchiglione a parte che occupava mezzo piatto dove c’erano gli spaghettoni, erano fredde, inoltre della vista dei pomodorini freschi nemmeno l’ombra, lo spaghettone con cozze, vongole e un gamberone era condito con una specie di salsa di pomodoro allungata con qualcosa per risultare un po’ “vischiosa, metà l’ho lasciato nel piatto. Un’altra cosa: le tovaglie sono plastificate, che ti appiccichi, dopo sparecchiato venivano a spruzzare sopra qualcosa e con uno panno passavano e avanti il prossimo, ci appoggiavano direttamente sopra le posate e i tovaglioli a parte… anche no grazie! Il signore di una certa età anche simpatico che prendeva le comande, si dimenticava molto… vi porto l’acqua e niente, vi porto le salviette per le mani e niente, vi porto il conto e niente…passava e ci continuava a chiedere se volevamo altro….e fra tutto questo insieme di cose ci è passata anche la voglia di dolce e caffè. Abbiamo alla fine pagato al banco. Sconsigliato.
