24/03/2024: Beautiful cafeteria, amazing cakes and coffee. I tried a tiramisu and a Nutella cheesecake and I was in heaven :) very reasonable price and English speaking staff is very friendly and helpful.

14/03/2024: We politely asked to be seated and didn't get told to order first, so waited 15 minutes assuming table service but were ignored. Staff did see us and were on their phones so we decided it was best to try elsewhere. Unfortunate.

19/03/2024: A place that has existed for decades and managed over time I think by several people. We found the rooms renovated without prejudice to the spaces remaining large. The pizza is good, and the fries are excellent and, compared to many other similar places, they are of high quality and do not have pieces of various sizes and sometimes of poor quality. The price of the pizzas is average, the drinks are also in large bottles, here you are not obliged to drink draft beer as it is now served in many pizzerias at prohibitive costs per glass, but you can also choose a bottled beer or other drinks. We will definitely return

07/05/2024: Trattoria with fish menu located on the island of Ortigia in a secluded position not far from the main access bridge, this ensures that it is not too touristy. Traditional Sicilian cuisine with an excellent quality-price ratio. Good, pleasant and friendly service in a simple environment where most of the tables are outdoors. On weekends and in high season it is better to book.

14/05/2024: STELLAR Nice little restaurant on the eastern side of the island of Ortigia. Nice, modern place, competent staff in recommending friendly, courteous and very quick dishes. We had an excellent cheesecake with Etna burrata, a caponata with diced swordfish, with the main courses an octopus cooked in brick that literally melted in your mouth and a sea bass fillet on a bed of seafood puree. The desserts are also excellent. What can I say, beautiful flavours, beautiful colours, an excellent mix of revisited Sicilian cuisine. Definitely worth trying

12/05/2024: A nice little place, with a sea view, brilliantly managed by affable and professional people, offering innovative cuisine with roots in the Mediterranean tradition. We only had a first course... some spectacular square spaghetti Moresca style... really very good!!!

20/02/2024: Credo di essere felice nel scrivere questa recensione poiché ieri sera, 19 febbraio, ho festeggiato il mio compleanno nel ristorante vegano più interessante che io abbia mai frequentato. Le pietanze sono davvero curate e ricercate nella preparazione nella abbinamento degli ingredienti. Dall antipasto al secondo. Il conto finale è di sicuro in proporzione a cio che viene servito e poco più alto di una pizzata. Un ringraziamento particolare ad Andrea, il bravissimo gestore della sala insieme al collega gentilissimo Bha (spero si scriva così), per la sua professionalità, simpatia e cortesia. Consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante che può solo insegnare la cultura del rispetto nel nutrirsi. Alex non è vegan e ha apprezzato tutto! 09/02/2024: We wanted to end the short stop in Syracuse with a dinner to remember...from 'hearsay' of the place we booked at Il Tiranno...the first impression should have told us everything: the place was cold and above all deserted...we chose the Corrente menu, despite the €100 price €, intrigued by the description of the dishes...we choose the wine: a Sicilian white..."ah, a red?" we are asked...second element that we should have considered....do we insist and wait...for reality? Dull plates of dubious freshness and almost empty... white wine served at room temperature... stain-resistant tablecloth that doesn't even fit at home... bill for 3 people €360 which we would have gladly spent on a dream dinner, just as we hoped... a real steal given the reality we experienced !!!
