26/01/2025: Called last minute to book a table and luckily found it after an hour. Having arrived in the centre, well in advance, walking around looking for friends we passed in front of the place and went in asking if by any chance a table was available. They soon managed to seat us, fortunately because the children were hungry. We really appreciated the attention of the guys who accompanied us upstairs away from the front door and therefore from the cold of the constant opening and closing. Sandwiches booked and served within the technical times. The friendliness of the impeccable service. The sandwiches arrived with a size that makes you think: "now how do I bite it". Excellent, even the children were very satisfied, my wife Dalì's toast was also excellent. The welcoming and extravagant place is also nice Highly recommended to spend a nice evening

14/01/2025: Nice venue. Welcoming. Good quality of products. The owners and employees are very kind and helpful. The gluten-free sandwich is excellent. I recommend it. The panels are excellent. Good service both at home and in the restaurant.

12/12/2024: I go to Augusta for work and I came across this welcoming and elegant place. Excellent dishes, especially fish. You pay the right amount and you are satisfied. We eat really well.

01/01/2025: Attenzione al cliente, personale gentile, preparato sia sulle specialità dello Chef sia sulla vasta cantina della quale dispongono. Piatti deliziosi da guardare e da gustare. Essere ospiti del Ristorante Capriccio si rivela sempre un’esperienza indimenticabile.

17/11/2024: Lo Chef ha inserito nuovi piatti nel menu. Si intuiscono, immediatamente lo studio, la fantasia e la perfetta riuscita delle armonie di sapori. Il servizio in sala e la sommelier Federica sempre cordiali ed altamente professionali. Capone, crema di cavolfiore, cavolfiore acidulo: il rispetto dei sapori singoli che, insieme, creano armonia. Paccheri, crema di zucca, ombrina, feta: semplicemente ECCELLENTI. Sapori mediterranei con incursione nella cucina greca. Geniale la spatola croccante, crema all’amatriciana e confettura di cipolla. Il tutto accompagnato da un bianco, suggerito da Federica, che ha ssaputo esaltare i sapori senza mai invadere.

14/10/2024: If you’re in Sicily and love shellfish, this restaurant and shop is a must-visit! Bruno welcomed us warmly and guided us through an incredible dining experience. Everything was all fresh and delicious. Bruno’s expertise and friendly service made our visit special. Plus, the shop has a great selection of fresh shellfish to take home. Highly recommend!

10/10/2024: Was visiting family for a couple of weeks and this was by far our favorite place to go for dinner. The food was outstanding, and the people were very friendly. Highly recommend.

24/12/2024: Il 19 dicembre abbiamo organizzato con amici un aperitivo a pranzo,devo dire che nonostante non c é l aspettavamo, il proprietario ci ha messo a disposizione l' intera saletta e ha preparato un grande buffet misto...pienamente soddisfatta

19/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per un aperitivo a pranzo tra colleghe.. Quello che hanno portato era talmente abbondante e buono da non crederci..servizio e cordiali eccezionali..ci tornerò volentieri per altri aperitivi e per ricorrenze.. super soddisfatta.. complimenti 👏🏼

04/01/2025: I cannot deny the kindness of the staff, the welcome and the low prices, but the pasta is totally inedible, overcooked and poorly seasoned, botched and poorly presented.... I'm sorry to give this review but Italian cuisine must be respected.

03/01/2025: I come to have a quiet dinner with my wife but when it came time to pay the bill the tranquility turned into agitation... We take a veal fillet with a side of vegetables for my wife and I would have liked to order a cut of veal but the waitress recommended an alternative from Scottona without having any price information nor the price per KG of the meat being specified on the menu. Okay, I know more or less the average prices of the various steak houses and I had planned to spend around 60 euros but the €90 offered at the time of paying made me quite annoyed. If you offer the customer an alternative, at least specify the price to avoid some unfortunate person being out of money and having difficulty making the payment. Published almost 3 years after the review. I must have been back about ten times and everything went perfectly. 5 stars for everything, forgive me

09/12/2024: Excellent place where you can enjoy everything that our wonderful land can offer from the restaurant with first courses with a wide choice to second courses of exquisite meat with portions out of the ordinary and all cooked differently even with many types of meat. To then move on to the very good tong pizzas with lots of choice. Overall, I recommend it. The location is excellent because it is a stone's throw from Augusta Cathedral Square with the possibility of finding parking in the area. Located on the ground floor, therefore easy to access for disabled people. Furthermore, there are several rooms that need to be able to accommodate their customers, which I guarantee are many. Finally, in summer it offers the possibility of sitting outside the restaurant. Truly qualified, friendly and helpful staff. The owners are truly exquisite and respectable people.

20/12/2024: I would have gladly given 5 stars, but last night, for the first time, I can say in my life, given that it is a place I have always frequented with my parents, I was a little perplexed. My doubts concern the recent addition of the use of tables at the entrance of the restaurant which, if they had not been usable, we would not have been able to sit down to dine. The divider that you call the tables by the door is not enough to protect the diners who are on this side from the cold, especially with customers who arrive and have the right to keep the door open because they and then children are constantly coming in and out. Furthermore, the divider is light enough that upon a first "investment" it opened and fell, risking falling on the people at the table, therefore I would suggest adapting this small and lovely niche. In this area, in fact, there are still ancient tables covered with glass under which beautiful black and white photos have been inserted and the benches on which to sit are comfortable thanks also to the presence of cushions. Friendly staff and excellent pizza. I would like the rustic and warm environment in itself to continue to be so. For me, Amassaria feels like home.
