30/03/2024: Ho preso tre pizze da asporto. Che dire, penso che sia stata la peggiore pizza mai mangiata. La margherita senza mozzarella, solo salsa di pomodoro e basta. Anche nelle altre due, una romana e 4 gusti si è dimenticato la mozzarella. Impasto crudo, bordi bruciati, condimenti quasi inesistenti, talmente fine che si è sfaldata appena messa nel piatto. In conclusione esperienza a dir poco da dimenticare. Andate altrove se cercate una pizza quantomeno che si possa chiamare tale.

The owner, cheerful, attentive to the needs and tastes of the customer, is always efficient and offers delicious preparations of traditional cuisine. We always come back with pleasure, both for lunch and dinner, and we also celebrated my daughter's graduation party and were more than satisfied. The quality/price ratio is unparalleled.

06/05/2024: Unfortunately it was very cold because they put us in a side room that didn't have any heating. Since we arrived early for dinner at 7:30 p.m., there were no service staff present. Half of the order from the “boss” didn’t even arrive. After ordering we were "overlooked" so we couldn't order or ask where the ordered was. The best thing was the wine otherwise tough starter, cold dishes. Seen in this way, more appearance than reality. What a shame!

31/03/2024: Today we went to Bagheria to visit Villa Palagonia, the villa of monsters and after a pleasant tour we had lunch at VintiReci. The experience was great from the beginning with the owner welcoming us in a friendly and true way. Our lunch started with some raw tuna fish and some stockfish sticks that amazed us with their flavour and ingenuous combination with some fruit and vegetable gravies. The main courses were: - Some gorgeous lemon tagliatelle with potatoes and clams. The lemon could be felt within the clams and both were held tight to the perfectly cooked tagliatelle thanks to the help of some noble potato cream. - Some delicious spaghetti alla carrettiera with prawn tartare: the light zingy taste of the lemon was supported in this case by some crunchy breadcrumbs that adorned the thick, freshly made spaghetti whose al dente cooking degree is actually a testament in our food encounters. - Some amazing potato gnocchi with octopus sauce: the strong fishy taste of the octopus was amplified by the rich tomato sauce and some octopus tentacles happily embraced the gnocchi for the delight of our 8 year old daughter! Flawless taste presented in an elegant way for the perfect Easter!

Finally a gastronomic habitat and not a restaurant. Very nice environment, refined, but without exaggeration. Music at the right volume that allows you to talk. But let's get to the food. All very, very good and with an idea behind it. The idea of ​​maintaining tradition and contaminating it in the East, in South America and "dirtying" it by changing the traditional ingredients is beautiful. We start with two glasses of wine, a rosé and a prosecco, excellent, it is clear from here that the level is going up. Starters, crunchy prawn rating 10, tempura prawn with salad, an explosion of taste and contrasts. Followed by a revisited panelle sandwich with tuna kebab, capers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, very good, score 8. As a first course, I'm eyeing tagliatelle with lobster, but an asterisk that refers to a frozen product stops me, not even 30 seconds and the staff who gave us welcomed delicately, he shows us the magnificent catch of the day, from which a fresh lobster emerges and then go for the tagliatelle, fettuccine or linguine, as long as there is lobster. The dish is abundant and is divided into two portions, rating 10, point. We can also go home, lobster always, all our lives. Instead we continue, frying prawns and calamari and calamari with lard and spring onion. The latter is a mix of contrasts, from the crunchiness of the lard to the sweetness of the spring onion which crash like sea waves onto the squid, rating 8. Perfect frying, rating 10, there isn't a residue of oil even if you look for it, color perfect, super flavor, top, the best I've ever eaten. Right quantities, you don't wake up hungry and you manage to complete all the courses. We conclude with a fresh fruit sorbet that manages to delicately cleanse the palate. Fair price for the level offered and the quality of the products presented with a gastronomic idea. For two 135 euros. A gastronomic experience to be repeated several times. Well done, applause.
