26/01/2026: Great little restaurant; street parking that wasn't difficult to find on a Friday night in January. Staff speaks English. There is a small, open kitchen with a woodfire pizza oven, and the pizza menu is extensive. My husband's swordfish wasn't fresh, but he didn't seem to mind. Storm Henry hit earlier in the week and the local fisherman were still probably recovering. We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't in Catania downtown and Valentino's fit the bill. Sigonella folks: this is a great place to go with a larger group. Atmosphere scored low because of the fluorescent lighting - does nothing for dining ambiance.

11/01/2026: It was my favorite pizzeria in college... I returned after more than ten years and found the quality even better. The pizza and pinsa were delicious.
Reservations are recommended because the place isn't very big.
10/01/2026: Small but welcoming atmosphere. All the pizzas are exceptional, including the vegan ones, which are equally delicious and inviting! Highly recommended!

07/12/2025: Our favorite place to take in an espresso or cappuccino and a pastry when in Motta. Super friendly staff with seating out front, tables inside, and even several couches to relax and take in a game on the TV. I highly recommend Area 51 and wish we visited Motta more frequently as I miss our prior daily visits.

21/10/2025: For me, this hotel has become a regular stopover when I work in the Catania area. My company and I choose it for its excellent location. There's ample parking, and the building and rooms are a bit dated, but they're spacious and equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We usually opt for the half-board option, and the evening meal service is excellent. The food is generous and tasty, but breakfast is a bit basic.
12/10/2025: Spacious but slightly dated rooms.
The bathtubs in the bathroom should be removed; they're uncomfortable, dangerous, and unhygienic.

25/04/2025: Pessimi alimenti. Sugo della pizza crudo, il prosciutto puzzava e i ravioli con il guanciale puzzavano anche di avariato. Sconsigliatissimo. La pizza è meglio quella fatta in casa. Pessima esperienza
05/04/2025: Una pizza davvero ottima! Ingredienti di prima qualità, digeribilissima e con vera mozzarella!
Se a questo aggiungiamo la gentilezza del personale allora è sicuramente un posto senza fronzoli ma di sostanza dove ritornare.

27/03/2025: In zona per lavoro, ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Io ho preso un piatto d'antipasto a buffet, con un'offerta molto varia sia per quanto riguarda il pesce che le verdure. Poi ho preso delle alici arrosto veramente ottime. Servizio ruspante ed un po' frettoloso. Prezzi ottimi per quello che si mangia
