04/07/2024: Very nice service and mostly very good pizza. The portions are quite large and they were very accommodating about giving us boxes to take home pizza. The choices of flavors are very interesting. We especially enjoyed the tre formaggio pizza (surprisingly great since it’s just 3 cheeses). The signature mundibeddo pizza was very good too. One of us found our pizza not as good, a bit too hard to cut.

08/08/2024: The service at the restaurant is terrible. The waitress manager (or it seemed like that) was rude from the start. We arrived in the middle of a hail storm and with 6 children he placed us at the table next to an open window. She refused our insistent request to close the window, forcing me to wear sweatshirts and jackets (8 August) because she couldn't stand the stale air that would have been created. After a long time he decided to close the window but opened the fire door still next to us, letting in double the cold. In addition to this episode, rudeness was always present: in ordering, clearing dishes and in general conversation. At the time of the bill they were "forgetting" the receipt. To be honest... the food has always been excellent... but unfortunately this isn't enough in catering.
03/08/2024: We stopped here for lunch as part of our organized Etna day tour. This beautiful rustic setting amongst the canopy of trees on Mt Etna was great.

24/10/2024: Bad experience, I went to the butcher's shop and explicitly asked for Messina chicken rolls, whoever served me gave me chicken nuggets that had nothing to do with what was requested even if they were aesthetically similar. I felt cheated, even though the recipe is not strictly local, the butcher's shop had some Messina-style beef rolls on display, so they could easily have told me that they weren't available with chicken, rather than foist one thing on me for another (among 'another excessive price for simple breaded chicken, absolutely simpler processing than the Messina-style roulade, certainly not 16 euros per kilo). Incorrect and superficial attitude, I don't think it was a misunderstanding given that when I was served there was no confusion and the only customer was me.
01/10/2024: Perfect service. We were in a hurry so just ordered burgers and they were fast, tasty and full of fries. Recommended

05/08/2024: Piatti squisiti, uno più buono dell’altro. Personale gentilissimo e molto competente. Una menzione, in particolare, va al maitre Dario, che ci ha coccolati con la sua cortesia ed esperienza nei vini etnei (e non solo). Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Assolutamente consigliato, bravi!
27/07/2024: Absolute gem of a hotel and restaurant on the middle of this charming quiet mountainous town. Very stylish hotel reception leading through to outdoor restaurant of only 5 tables (more inside). The whole meal was expertly cooked, presented, served, described - and we enjoyed every one of the 7 courses to the max. Would recommend this to couples and families alike. Thank you Shalai !

10/08/2024: Abbiamo trovato casualmente questo ristorante che si è rivelato ottimo. La lista dei vini è eccellente. I piatti tutti appetitosi. Il proprietario che ci ha servito è stato veramente gentile e pronto ad ogni richiesta. Super consigliato.

01/12/2024: We were here today for a hot lunch with the children given the beautiful snow day...then you can eat reasonably well at a trattoria but the prices are very high and not adequate, ok you also pay for the Cortina type location....but and I say but....after you pay for macaroni 18 euros...you can't leave there hungry mink...a...macaroni yes or no 150 grams. I also use fresh pasta in a bag, 2 euros per kg .......conclusion add more pasta and make a better impression and you will have less criticism from the kind staff.

15/08/2024: On Google it appears as a pizzeria restaurant, once we arrive we are told that it is only a pizzeria.
The quality of the pizza is very poor. I was under the impression it had been cooked in an electric oven, but I was wrong.
The pizzas, like the chips, are for huge quantities.
The tables outside are absolutely poorly lit, so much so that you can't see what you're eating.
The girls who served were very kind and attentive.
A standard pizza, a baby pizza, a quarter of wine, water and a portion of chips, €36.

22/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato qui oggi per la prima volta. Abbiamo provato la grigliata mista, devo dire tutto molto buono, notando l’ottima qualità. Inoltre, completa la positiva esperienza l’accoglienza e la cordialità del personale. Sicuramente ritorneremo ☺️
17/08/2024: Cercavo un ristorante con recensioni recenti, non corrispondenti al sole mare. Che dire, siamo andati lo stesso. Mi son sentita come a casa dalla location al cibo.. Cucina casereccia, antipasto e arrosto misto.
