07/09/2025: We dined at Le Mille e Una Notte both because it won 4 restaurants and because it was recommended to us, but what we ate was below average. At the entrance, there were a series of packaged products on the counter; we were already perplexed by them (Nutella, toast, etc.). We ordered the €70 large raw seafood appetizer, and the dish arrived very messy; the shrimp tasted of lime, and the rest of the dish lacked flavor. The Mille e Una Notte meatballs were neither good nor bad, but certainly not up to expectations. The La Mia Sicilia pasta was bland and lacked character. Unfortunately, we didn't even notice a pleasant atmosphere (perhaps cold, white lighting?) despite the beautiful indoor grotto and the courteous, helpful staff. A real shame.

04/09/2025: A pleasant discovery in Lampedusa. A restaurant on the old port, with attention to detail. Attentive and courteous service. Truly fresh fish and generous portions. Special mention for the grilled fish and the octopus goulash (so tender!). Recommended!

31/08/2025: We visited this restaurant a few days ago. It's located in a narrow side alley off Via Roma. The atmosphere is rustic, with typical regional furnishings and objects. The tables are very close together, a bit cramped. The staff was friendly and quick, but a bit noisy. We had a pizza, a first course (busiate pasta with mussels, shrimp, and pistachios), a second course (amberjack rolls), and a glass of sparkling white wine. The pizza, cooked in an electric oven, was very good and perfectly cooked. The busiate pasta was flavorful, the portion was just right, and the sauce was generous. The involtini were soft and we enjoyed the contrast between the delicate flavor of the amberjack and the more intense flavor of the fennel. The wine was very fruity and of appreciable quality. The price seemed fair for the setting. It was a good experience, with some room for improvement.

28/08/2025: I had a delicious gluten-free pizza at this restaurant! The rest of my family, who are all celiacs, also enjoyed the dishes. The plates and tableware were beautifully designed, and I particularly appreciated the tablecloths. This does not take anything away from the excellent food and the skill of the staff, who are knowledgeable about celiac disease. Highly recommended, along with the ice cream shop of the same name across the street!

06/08/2025: Il miglior ristorante di Lampedusa, senza dubbio! Esperienza eccellente sotto ogni aspetto. Gli antipasti sono un vero trionfo di sapori, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e presentati con cura. I primi piatti sono semplicemente deliziosi: ricchi, equilibrati e cucinati alla perfezione. Ogni portata è stata una piacevole scoperta. Servizio attento e cortese, atmosfera accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione!

05/10/2025: I'm giving one star because the food was truly awful. The house wine was watered down. The dishes arrived cold after being circulated around the room because the waitress didn't know where to take them. The quality of the ingredients was very poor and poorly prepared. Inedible.

04/10/2025: I went to this restaurant with five friends.... We ate wonderfully, everything based on seafood.... The appetizers were plentiful and delicious. The first courses were spectacular.... We tried pasta with squid ink, pasta with swordfish and eggplant, pasta with calamari and pistachios.... One spectacle after another. Not to mention the second courses... something amazing... And we were even more amazed by the bill. We paid really little. Excellent service and truly friendly staff.

02/08/2025: Il paradiso per i golosi. Brioches buonissime, con notevole assortimento. Quella alla ricotta e quella alla crema di nocciole strepitose!

20/07/2025: Bar super centrale a Lampedusa sempre molto frequentato. I dolci per la colazione buonissimi, la granita alle mandorle una prelibatezze, il personale nonostante la mole di lavoro, disponibile e cordiale. Consigliato

16/08/2025: The quality of the croissants is certainly good, but when you point out at the cashier that you ordered a normal cream croissant and they brought you a small, empty croissant, the response is we'll fire everyone, making fun of the customer. Any other aspect becomes secondary and demonstrates the lack of attention towards the customer, which is also evident in the less than excellent cleanliness of the tables.
