28/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questa pizzeria un sabato sera di fine luglio.. locale affollatissimo ma personale gentilissimo e super efficiente.. ci hanno servito subito e nonostante il locale pieno dopo 20 minuti stavamo già mangiando. Ottima pizza e dolci buonissimi.

26/07/2025: Great pizza. We've tried almost every one in Cala Gonone, and this one beats them all! I highly recommend it. P.S. And if you don't like pizza, I recommend the burrata with botarga – a great starter.

10/08/2025: Here's a suggestion for your review: --- I'd like to highlight the excellent service I received during my visit to your pizzeria. One server in particular, a bearded man, was extremely attentive, welcoming, and pleasant. His professionalism and kindness truly marked my evening. I highly recommend this pizzeria without hesitation! Not only are the prices very reasonable, but the pizzas are also delicious. The service was excellent, with servers (ours was dark-haired and bearded) who never hesitate to go out of their way to satisfy customers, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful evening. It was a real pleasure visiting you, and I will be back!

08/08/2025: We, residents of Dorgali, have been going to this pizzeria for many years, often with friends. Unfortunately, the pizza isn't as good as it used to be. The place is attractive, and they're constantly expanding, which suggests good business. The service is super friendly and courteous. What bothers us, however, is the owner. He doesn't feel the need to greet his customers, neither when he's walking through the restaurant nor when he's standing right in front of them. He didn't even return my greeting. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but the customers are funding the owner's expansions and cars. They'll probably make another restaurant their regular haunt.

22/07/2025: My favorite restaurant, while visiting Cala Gonone. The food was very tasty and flavorful, and although it is on the pricier side, I believe it is better than all other restaurants in the area. Service seemed a bit chaotic, but when asking for something forgotten, they were on it right away. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. The tables aren’t on top of each other so it also offers a chance for a nice conversation, without other tables being loud or being forced to listen. The views are also absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant seemed quite full every day, therefore I would recommend a reservation. On the day I visited, we arrived around 19:45, it was full, but the very friendly host offered us a reservation for about an hour later.

21/07/2025: It's worth making a reservation and eating outside with a sea view 🌊 the food was great and of high quality, even the olive oil for the bread was organic and from a nearby place in Sardinia

04/08/2025: Vi racconto l'esperienza con questo ristorante. Scrivo il giorno prima su whatsapp per prenotare per le 13,30 un tavolo per 6 persone e mi viene data conferma. Il giorno del pranzo scrivo loro un messaggio alle 12,26 per comunicare che in seguito ad una problematica avuta in viaggio (incidente, provenienti da Villasimius), saremmo arrivati mezz'ora dopo, ore 14 con l'orario del navigatore. Vengo chiamato dalla struttura alle 13,25 circa chiedendo informazioni su dove fossimo e per che ora arriveremmo. Ci viene detto che la struttura era aperta solo per attenderci e se avessimo avvisato prima avrebbero rinunciato alla nostra prenotazione (come si fa a prevedere un incidente?). Mi viene nuovamente chiesto l'orario di arrivo e il navigatore segnava le 13,52 e il proprietario al telefono mi rispondeva che se fossimo arrivati entro le 13,45 ci avrebbe fatto mangiare altrimenti avremmo trovato chiuso "perché loro sono gente che lavora" e inoltre mi sento dire "il navigatore vi porta dove vuole lui ma non dove vogliamo noi". A auel punto chiudiamo la telefonata rinunciando alla prenotazione. La mia domanda è, ma che modo è di trattare 6 clienti? Ho espressamente comunicato per correttezza le criticità avute, e vengo trattato in maniera non civile e irrispettosa, senza aver dato peraltro modo o maniera. Un trattamento ridicolo.

22/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo infrasettimanale durante la nostra vacanza e siamo rimasti entusiasti. L’atmosfera è accogliente e il proprietario è stato davvero gentilissimo. Abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici deliziosi, preparati con cura e ricchi di sapore, si sente subito che le materie prime sono di qualità, con porzioni abbondanti! Un luogo dove si mangia benissimo e si respira autenticità, con un tocco di originalità. Assolutamente consigliato!

04/08/2025: A beautiful place surrounded by nature, clean rooms. The pool is beautiful, and the entire area is beautiful, too, with the lawn, lounge chairs, and kiosk—everything is very well-kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and polite. The only downside is that breakfast is not included in the room rate. Even though the receipt states B&B, breakfast is not included, and in my opinion, it could easily have been included in the price of the overnight stay, which is still high.

04/08/2025: Beautiful place, well-maintained and organized. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. I would have loved to have lunch and their cuisine; locals raved about its deliciousness. It's a shame about the kiosk by the pool, which, in my humble opinion, is a bit disorganized and very busy. I would have preferred the prices displayed. Finally, kudos to the reception and cleaning staff.

10/06/2025: We had lunch here after a visit to the caves. Great service and a good menu, we had grilled calamari and an octopus salad. Took great photos from the restaurant of the view.

25/05/2025: Fantastisch eten met fantastisch uitzicht. Helaas vroeg in seizoen dus we waren met nog een ander stel en dat was het. Super goede bediening. Het eten was echt super lekker en vers. Enorme aanrader.

17/07/2025: Beautiful terrace, but that’s where the positives end. The staff was cold and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was far from impressive. I found a plastic-like object in my meat pasta. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she shrugged it off, saying it was “probably a fish shell” and “normal in the kitchen.” A serious concern for anyone with allergies. The other dish we ordered was a pasta dish with gambas and fish roe. The portion was laughable: just four tiny shrimp, and when we questioned it, the server simply blamed “the cost of gambas”. As if that justified the poor value. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I’m honestly baffled by the glowing reviews. I also noticed another comment suggesting bias against non-Italians. Sadly, that wouldn't surprise me based on how we were treated. --- addition after reaction owner: Dear DuePi, Thank you for your response. I’m sorry to see that my experience is being dismissed as “frustration” rather than taken as honest feedback from a customer who simply did not feel welcome. I had hoped for a professional and customer-oriented reply. Instead, I read personal accusations and assumptions about my behavior and taste. Just to clarify: I politely pointed out that there was a strange object in my dish; which was dismissed as a “fish shell” and considered “normal in the kitchen.” That’s concerning, especially for people with allergies. My partner and I are not unreasonable people. We’ve dined in many restaurants, both in Italy and abroad, and we genuinely appreciate good food and hospitality. Unfortunately, we did not experience either during our visit. It’s great that others have had positive experiences; but that doesn’t change how we were received or treated. 16/07/2025: A very nice restaurant, with a menu featuring well-cooked local specialties and prompt, attentive service. The atmosphere is enhanced by the presence of very friendly and sociable cats.

18/07/2025: This is the second year in a row I've stayed at the San Francisco. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful, and the staff is extremely friendly and available to meet your every need. It's very centrally located for all amenities, with a restaurant attached to the hotel. I plan on returning next year. I highly recommend it. Greetings to all the staff, especially Maurizio.
