26/06/2025: Friendly waitress, she immediately put us in a better mood. The menu is only available via QR code, but they also lend you a tablet if you don't have your own device.
The pizzas were unique, excellent. Let's try something else next time

22/05/2025: It is the classic "Bar della piazza". The meeting place of the community. The place where it is not luxury that welcomes you but human warmth and friendliness. The context is that of the historic center, vital and pulsating where you find yourself "by chance" or by habit and you always find an acquaintance, a friend or the same managers with whom you can spend a pleasant moment of precious sociality.

24/05/2025: Poche 5 stelle per questo locale,dove il personale ( Gianfranco, Fabio,Eleonora e tutto il team) cibo,servizio e location, hanno reso la nostra cena un' esperienza indimenticabile! Noi ci ritorneremo presto,ma mi sento di consigliare a chi è nei dintorni di San Simone di provare questa esperienza!

27/08/2025: The appetizer prices were exorbitant for a paltry dish. The wait for dinner was endless. We arrived at 9:20 PM and our dishes were delivered at 11:45 PM. Disorganized by the waiters and the kitchen. The long wait is apparently customary, given that there's a chalkboard with the message "Don't rush, and that waiting increases cravings and hunger." After more than two hours, my only desire was to get up and leave.
The exterior was definitely nice. I recommend a guided tour only, without dinner.

How wonderful to be able to eat in such a unique and characteristic place, with such masterfully prepared dishes, with truly excellent service, and be able to feel at home...gentlemen, this is what happens at Corte dei Simonari!!! Everything was beautiful, everyone was truly nice, from the first to the last. The owner is probably the sweetest of all; before we left, she even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. We can't wait to return to try other Salento dishes prepared (and in some cases revisited) by the talented chef and to be pampered by all the staff.
P.S.
I forgot to mention that the prices are MORE than fair.
