13/12/2025: A truly positive experience. The freshest fish, cooked to perfection. The homemade desserts are also highly recommended. In winter, the warm atmosphere creates a Christmassy atmosphere. In spring and summer, the terrace with its breathtaking views of the Gargano offers a romantic and evocative setting.

10/10/2025: The best ravioli with tomato sauce in Italy! Meals made with garden produce. The lemon sorbet with locally produced amaro is irresistible! A stop at this restaurant is a must on this mountain road if you're passing through Gargano.

04/10/2025: I spent €26 for a mixed seafood grill (as pictured), water, and cover charge. The wait was a bit long and the prices were a bit above average for the area, but the quality of the fish and the perfect cooking made for a decidedly positive experience. Recommended for those looking for well-prepared seafood dishes and fresh ingredients, regardless of the final bill.

08/02/2026: Always happy to return, despite the years, the Giardino di Monsignore restaurant and beach club remain a guarantee of taste, elegance, and excellent value. A little more attention to customer service from the dining room staff would be welcome.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 11/10/2025: I went for dinner for the first time and had a thin-crust pizza with excellent leavening. The appetizers were made with high-quality ingredients. The staff was attentive and friendly. The owner was welcoming and courteous. Beautiful location in the very characteristic historic center. Fair prices. Highly recommended.
