A simply extraordinary dinner at the Santa Chiara Restaurant in Turi, where three couples dined.
Kudos to the chef: the quality and freshness of the ingredients are undeniable, and every dish was executed to perfection. From the delicate red shrimp carpaccio to the rich raw fish platter, to the excellent spaghetti alla chitarra with sea urchin cream. The fish main courses were also exquisite (the squid and red mullet were impeccable), and the selection of desserts was delicious and meticulously prepared. Kudos also go to the wine cellar, truly extensive and well-stocked.
Despite the owner's absence, the evening went off without a single hitch: everything ran perfectly. The service was extremely attentive, professional, and thoughtful, with fantastic attention to detail, such as wiping the table clean of crumbs before dessert.
High-quality seafood cuisine, excellent wines, and impeccable management. An exceptional place in Turi; we'll definitely be back!

01/05/2026: I went for dinner with my partner and we enjoyed everything: delicious vegetable caponata, tasty new potatoes, excellent meat, and exquisite sandwiches and pinsa. Attentive and fast service. Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. I highly recommend it.
18/04/2026: Recommended by our Airbnb hosts, this restaurant was a wonderful discovery, so much so that we returned a second time during our stay. The food is typical, high-quality, and local, and highly recommended, especially for meat lovers. The owner, Fernando, took excellent care of us, attentive to our comfort and offering superb advice on choosing dishes and wines. A significant bonus: he speaks impeccable French! A truly delightful experience, we highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you again, Fernando, for such a warm welcome!

06/06/2026: Total incompetence in managing a restaurant. After losing our order, we were treated rudely and put back in line. The pizza was nothing special and a bit undercooked. The only positive was the temperature of the beer. We've made a note to never return.

03/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la 1' comunione di mia figlia. Che dire, non ha deluso le nostre aspettative! Il posto è incantevole, la cucina favolosa (dagli Antipasti ai primi al secondo), il personale gentile e professionale! Abbiamo ricevuto molti complimenti per la scelta del posto!

16/11/2024: Il posto è spettacolare. Il Servizio super: non ho mai incontrato persone così gentili e attente. Non abbiamo avuto bisogno di chiedere. Abbiamo degustato piatti squisiti, con materie prime eccellenti. La vera tradizione locale, non una folkloristico imitazione.

20/03/2025: Posto incantevole, immerso nella natura. Il titolare, il signor Onofrio, ci ha offerto da subito, un'ospitalità familiare, deliziandoci della sua ottima cucina, genuina ed a km 0.
Finito il pranzo, abbiamo deciso di fare una passeggiata respirando quell' aria così pura e il signor Onofrio, ci ha accompagnati a visitare così la sua fattoria, con tantissimi animali.
Un'esperienza davvero unica.
I bambini davvero molto entusiasi e noi grandi molto rilassati...
23/02/2025: Pranzo domenicale in famiglia eccezionale. Qui le materie prime provengono direttamente dall’azienda agricola di famiglia, e si sente! L’antipasto è un’esplosione di sapori, dai salumi e formaggi fatti da loro, alle varie proposte dello chef che valorizzano le verdure di stagione. La parmigiana di zucca? Una vera sorpresa. Molto buoni anche i primi, mentre le carni, provenienti dagli allevamenti di famiglia sono di una qualità elevata, difficile da trovare altrove. Persino le patate fritte hanno un sapore diverso, più autentico e genuino, come quelle fatte in casa.
Per chiudere in bellezza, i rosoli fatti in casa e i dolci sono la ciliegina sulla torta per un pranzo perfetto.
Servizio professionale ma con quel tocco di familiarità che ti fa sentire a casa. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliatissimo per provare la vera cucina tradizionale di qualità.
