07/05/2025: I'm updating my review from years ago left for this place from 1 star to 5 stars as I decided to give it another chance and this time LUCKILY I found well-trained and fairly customer-focused staff. If I really have to find a flaw I would suggest smiling a little more but the important thing is that they were professional and efficient. OLD REVIEW I called at 7pm booking for 9pm, after half an hour I called again to move the booking to 8.30pm and was told that it was fine. I show up at the restaurant at 8.25pm ​​and a guy from the staff replies to me (even though I had said about the reservation) "there's a bit of a wait" I ask how long and I'm told 15 minutes, I come back after 15 minutes and the same guy who is behind the counter replies "there's still a wait" at 9pm a couple of guys enter the restaurant and say "do you have a table for two?" The counterman who has been making me wait for 35 minutes replies "have you booked?" they say "NO" He says "OK GUYS, PLEASE FOLLOW ME TO THE TABLE" obviously I widen my eyes in shock and wave my hand at him, he sees me and says very confused "EH BUT YOU HAVE BOOKED, I'M MAKING YOU WAIT FOR THAT TABLE WHICH IS STILL OCCUPIED" even now I have to understand what this sentence means and I don't think I'll ever understand it but it's that, very confused, it makes us sit at a table near the door which had been free since 8.25pm... BUT IT DOESN'T END HERE! After 10 minutes another waiter shows up at the table and asks us "ARE YOU EATING HERE?" sorry what do you mean?!?! On the other hand, applause goes to the kitchen which, in a very short time from our order, "baked" the sandwiches and they were also good! At the time of paying, at the counter, the cashier even allows himself to make the joke "just a minute guys, now I'll make you wait to pay" could easily have been avoided... The good thing is that I started reading some reviews and many talk about the poor table service and the good food, when will the owner of the place "wake up"?

18/05/2025: Dinner last night in a restaurant in Domodossola: we arrived at 8pm without a reservation and the restaurant was full and we had to go back to Turin. Despite this, the restaurant owner managed to find us a table, demonstrating great courtesy and professionalism. Truly excellent pizza, prepared with top quality ingredients. The cuisine in general is also excellent, and the desserts... simply fantastic! A more than positive experience. Restaurant Vikingo, the warriors of taste!

15/01/2025: Very nice place, excellent food and the waitress who served us was very kind and professional. I give one star, despite myself, for what I imagine is the owner. When it was time to pay, the gentleman asked us if we wanted a single receipt and at "our" house the single receipt means a single bill, after a couple of seconds of back and forth he tells us "I don't care, just pay ” all pissed off We were very sorry as the lunch was spent in a super pleasant way but this farewell could have been saved. In the hope that he will learn education and the value of hospitality. Greetings from Turin, where hospitality is a must.

31/03/2025: We were passing through today and my wife and I decided to come in here and try their pizzas. The pub pizza and the calzone were truly exceptional, the pizza dough is formidable. At the service there was a boy who looked after us and was really very kind and had an exceptional service for us. We were also very happy with the small bruschetta they offered us, it was truly delicious. We highly recommend going there for the food and the service of the guy, very kind.

27/03/2025: We had lunch today, taking two menus of the day. Rigatoni all'amatriciana, good but quite distant from the classic recipe. As a second course, grilled skewers and chicken cutlets with mushrooms, with a side dish of green beans, cauliflower and salad: both superlative, generous portion, well cooked and truly tasty, fully satisfied with both the meat and the side dish. With water, coffee and a glass of wine, the two of us spent 34.50, a more than fair price, given the quantity and quality of the food and the courteous and attentive service. Very nice and pleasant environment.

28/05/2025: Central and with lots of space outside. The service is courteous and very fast. It may not be gourmet cuisine, but for €13 you get a complete lunch with a first and second course. I will definitely return when I have connections to wait for in Domodossola.

03/05/2025: Not only great food, but staff attentive to customer needs! They satisfied us twice on the choice of table, avoiding the stairs for an elderly person and an "uncomfortable" table due to the presence of our little dog! Highly recommended!
