16/03/2025: Nestled on the heights of Domodossola, quality family restaurant and warm welcome. Superb terrace and traditional room in a building of character. Refined and varied dishes in meat, fish or hunting in season. Very careful and original in presentation and taste. Beautiful wine list too. Excellent value for money! Worth the detour!

If you want to eat excellent fish in the mountains, you are in the right place. Nice environment and enchanting view of the city of Domodossola.

06/01/2025: We went to this place on Saturday 4th January for lunch with 9 people and found the staff friendly and welcoming. Excellent pizza and desserts. Excellent value for money. Recommended we will definitely return.

09/03/2025: We came for the legendary "Cthulhu-in-a-bun" tentacle burger but had to learn it's only served in summer. Went for a Pooria (with a tasty, creamy sauce of burratina and pistacchio. Delicious!!) and one with pulled pork (even a tad better, the meat was incredible juicy, the whole burger fantastic). Their self-made red ale accompanying it was fruity, rich and lightly bitter, just how it should be. The service was funny, fast, incredibly nice, the pub itself feels comfy... a really great find with great food other than my regular Italian food. Definitely have to get back there in summer, want to get strangled by that kraken burger and recommend everyone to do the same!

28/03/2025: Ristorante il Vikingo Domodossola. I don't give 5 stars easily, but here they are well deserved! Enchanting location, excellent service, super food! I tasted one of the best pizzas I've eaten, excellent quality ingredients, but above all the preparation of the dough, leavening for 42 hours! It means that it doesn't rise in the stomach 👏👍 highly recommended place! 🎩excellent

The cibo is ottimo, with piatti prepared with ingredients fresh and of high quality, and the offer of bevande è altrettanto eccellente. 21/02/2025: Locale bello, personale gentilissimo, atmosfera rilassante menù accurato con molte specialità spagnole. Da 10 e lode il piatto di piccoli antipasti di mare, da 7/8 i primi e i secondi (consiglio le tagliatelle con gamberi e crema di carciofi). Discreti i dolci. Prezzo adeguato. Tornerei per valutare le offerte di piatti iberici

15/01/2025: Very nice place, excellent food and the waitress who served us was very kind and professional. I give one star, despite myself, for what I imagine is the owner. When it was time to pay, the gentleman asked us if we wanted a single receipt and at "our" house the single receipt means a single bill, after a couple of seconds of back and forth he tells us "I don't care, just pay ” all pissed off We were very sorry as the lunch was spent in a super pleasant way but this farewell could have been saved. In the hope that he will learn education and the value of hospitality. Greetings from Turin, where hospitality is a must.

12/02/2025: The food was mediocre. The entrecôte was not asked at what level it should be fried, which is why it was too well done for me. Also, the waiter handed me the QR code for the menu because he thought I didn't understand the English and Italian on their menu. The entrecôte with “seasonal vegetables” was salad without sauce, as shown in the picture, as well as a few other vegetables, but nothing special. The waitresses and waiter were on their cell phones and didn't ask us how we liked it. However, they asked the guests next to us whether the food tasted good and whether they needed anything else. What I found very rude was that all the other customers could pay at the table and we had to walk to the bar and pay there. They also charged us a service fee of €5 for their poor service. The restaurant is not recommended at all and all staff should receive customer service training. Answer: It's sad that you can't even accept customer feedback. This shows the audacity of the place. Also, I don't see any broccoli on the plate. You should know what you are selling. They also claimed to have provided the QR code properly. However, simply throwing the QR code on the table is anything but decent. I don't know what they mean by kindness. Furthermore, it is completely unacceptable to discriminate against me because of my name. How could they even know my name in the restaurant? It's embarrassing that at a time when many people speak English, you don't even know this language. I'm surprised anyone even comes into this place anymore.

12/01/2025: We had a very good time, we were sitting on the terrace in December. the setting was romantic, we drank some good wine in front of a cozy fire and good music in the background the only flaw in my opinion is the food that is served as an aperitif, after the second bottle of wine we ordered they served us a portion of french fries...

03/03/2025: Stopped by for dinner again in 2025: Unfortunately, I can only reward the pinsa (we used to have bombastic pizzas) and my tagliatelle with 5 stars. Unfortunately, my friend's ravioli wasn't that good. The tablecloths have also disappeared (see also in the photos). Grana Padano (not Parmesan!) were placed on the table in a plastic bag. After all, open cheese was also served upon request. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nevertheless, we won't come anymore. It's a shame that it has faded so much. I was there once five years ago. The review with 5 stars: I had a pizza and my girlfriend had dumplings. Excellently cooked. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten. Which is the case in many pizzerias, the pizza bloats your stomach. Absolutely no problems here afterwards. The dough was great. The staff was friendly, quick and informative. I have to add that we went to eat as soon as it opened. There were still few guests there. I would come again.

03/02/2025: Dieses Mal konnten wir durch unseren etwas längeren Aufenthalt und Vergleich mit Restaurans der Umgebung noch besser einschätzen,dass diese Pizzeria hohe Qualität zu günstigen Preisen bietet. Wir kommen gern wieder !
