30/08/2025: Wanting to try the entire menu, I'll definitely be back! The cakes, polenta, and grilled meats especially. A historic place, with a touch of innovation, deliciousness, and friendliness, all immersed in nature! The kitchen and dining room staff do an excellent job, coordinated by the manager Francesco, who makes you feel right at home! Even if the weather isn't good, the walk from both Sestriere and Borgata is worth it: the reward at the end is tempting!

26/08/2025: Fantastic experience at this beautiful refuge. The food was excellent and plentiful. We felt pampered in a family atmosphere. Must try.

23/09/2025: Tried it on the evening of September 19, 2025. The restaurant is located in the quaint little village of Champlas Janvier, in the former stables of a beautifully renovated chalet. The interior is very welcoming and tasteful. The owner welcomed us with great courtesy and friendliness. After a complimentary aperitif, we had appetizers of raw meat carpaccio and a salad of celery, walnuts, and parmesan shavings. Everything was excellent. We continued with superb homemade cheese gnocchi and a seasonal soup. For dessert, a chestnut parfait was also excellent. We left very satisfied. We will definitely return to try other dishes in such a comfortable setting.

01/06/2025: Signori, chi non capisce un locale come questo a mio avviso non ha capito nulla della ristorazione. Prima di tutto Ronnie, il titolare vi accoglie come se foste vecchi amici che non vede da anni e vi fa sentire subito avvolti dalla calda atmosfera del suo bel locale. Non voglio fare un elenco dei piatti provati ma solo dirvi che la qualità era eccelsa e chi dice che le porzioni sono piccole ha dei problemi seri con il cibo. Siamo al Sestriere, dove per quattro cocktail in un bar abbiamo lasciato uno sproposito per poi cenare in quattro,con due bottiglie di ottimo vino, servizio impeccabile e cibo sempre di gran qualità per una cifra veramente onesta. Potrei sembrare di parte, lo ammetto, ma dico solo che oltre a scoprire un locale spettacolare, ho scoperto uno staff eccezionale, continuate cosi, siete fantastici.

19/03/2025: Abbiamo cenato in coppia in questo locale con un atmosfera familiare. Prodotti tipici piemontesi di ottima qualità ( i salumi ed i formaggi sono di prima scelta e freschissimi ). Ma il pezzo forte della serata è stata la costata di fassona, difficile da dimenticare. Il proprietario ed il cameriere ci hanno fatto sentire a casa con un servizio impeccabile. Credo il migliore ristorante a Sestriere.
