The cuisine has improved considerably, I have had the opportunity to try it several times since and everything is very good. In this case, today, the asparagus menu is wonderful, well cooked. Asparagus cooked perfectly and dishes are well prepared. Satisfied.
Overall, the dishes are good, just too seasoned with butter and oil, especially the plin and anchovies and too many hazelnuts.
I was not thrilled.

09/06/2025: We went here for a dinner over the weekend, intrigued by the extremely rich and unique menu. We chose a "tasting" menu for the whole table (minimum 4 people) and it was really worth it: the ingredients are of excellent quality and are combined in really interesting recipes. The pizza in particular is very good and also very light. The menu is also very rich with 8 sharing courses.
The only sore point is the price of drinks and specifically bottled water at €3.50: for the menu we spent about €25 per person, but between service charge and drinks we came out with about €40/45. Knowing this, just a few precautions and you can certainly spend a little less.
Highly recommended in any case for an out of the ordinary pizza evening.
07/06/2025: Beautiful place, very professional and friendly staff. What can I say about the food? The pizza with spelt and cereal dough is spectacular, the desserts are sublime. I will definitely go back. I RECOMMEND IT 100%.

31/05/2025: Family dinner, the intention was to taste the asparagus menu. It was a matter of tastings. The first courses were good (risotto with asparagus and meat agnolotti with asparagus sauce). Always asparagus for the appetizer and the second course that had nothing special, apart from a fluorescent yellow sauce passed off as gorgonzola. Disappointing dessert: the only choice was between tiramisu, creme caramel and panna cotta. I don't like any of the three, so I had to let it go. The cost of the menu: fixed 32.50...a bit too much, I didn't have dessert...
23/05/2025: Ristorante con cucina tipica piemontese. Si mangia bene e si spende poco. Prodotti freschi e di buona qualità. Se ci si trova in zona consiglio una sosta. Nel periodo degli asparagi propone ottimi piatti. Possibilità di prenotare per degustare un intero menù a base di asparagi (compreso il dolce!)

05/06/2025: Excellent food in a family atmosphere. The service is attentive and fast.
A real trattoria like in the old days with generous portions.
The place is simple, but well-kept, a little too noisy if you are unfortunate enough to meet large groups.
The prices are more than acceptable when compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes.
It's a shame that for those who don't know the place the entrance is anonymous and not easy to find, but this is really a subtlety.

01/06/2025: It's a place little known to tourists, but it maintains the essence of the area, both in the setting and in the quality and abundance of the food. The staff is very friendly and approachable, explaining details about the area, what to visit, and how to get there. They offered us a tasting menu, and it's very extensive. They offer typical Piedmont dishes, but not just the ones you usually find in more touristy places. The place is very charming and is in the middle of the countryside, yet close to the main road, making it an easy and convenient stop for lunch on the way to Alba. The area is also well worth a visit, both the city and the wine-growing villages. The scenery is dreamy.
03/05/2025: Fixed menu, but there are many courses so in the end you can choose what to eat more of, what to taste or not. The food is really excellent, the service friendly and the environment very nice. The price is very honest for the quality and quantity of the food served. Truly an excellent farmhouse.
We will definitely be back.

20/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua ottimo in questo agriturismo tutto buonissimo ci hanno servito 4 antipasti 2 primi 2 secondi con contorno 2 dolci con gelato al limone vino acqua caffe' e digestivo... a un prezzo più che onesto cibo ben preparato ottima l' insalatina regina... e molto delicato il secondo di arrosto con la salsina e agnello super.......i camerieri gentili e molto veloci nel servire le portate.... bravi... tornero' sicuramente
30/03/2025: Siamo stati con amici al pranzo a tema "FRITTO MISTO" e come sempre siamo stati benissimo. Che dire cibo ottimo, servizio rapido ed efficiente, rapporto qualità prezzo sempre eccellente. Bravi continuate sempre così...
N.B. Unica pecca il vino sfuso, noi abbiamo optato per l'acquisto fuori menu' di alcune bottiglie.

15/02/2025: Se gradite accostamenti dolce/salato, frutta/ salato andateci ad occhi chiusi!! Io che odio questo tipo di proposta di sicuro in quel locale non ci metterò più piede. Delle portate proposte ho gradito DUE ANTIPASTI!! È una questione di gusti, infatti alcuni hanno gradito molto i piatti, altri, come me, assolutamente NO!! Insalata con formaggi carne e FICHI!!! Aiuto!!! Un altra insalata con formaggio mele e agrumi!! Grazie ma NO GRAZIE! Risotto con barbabietola e pistacchio!!! Mi sembrava di mangiare un biscotto caldo con retrogusto al pistacchio!! No non ci siamo!! Accostamenti di carne con LE FRAGOLE!! MA DAI PER FAVORE!! I piatti erano eseguiti bene, nulla da eccepire, solo che propongono una cucina che io proprio non tollero!! Personale gentile, locale carino.
26/01/2025: Andiamo da Fricando' da diversi anni, per semplici pranzi domenicali in famiglia o per festeggiare eventi particolari. Ci stupisce sempre per qualità, professionalità, disponibilità. Ottima cucina a prezzi competitivi. Provare per credere!
