20/08/2024: Arriving at 10 to 9 p.m. Friday evening, we were welcomed and it was very nice.

20/08/2024: Very welcoming restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. You feel at home. Good food, varied and distinctive menu. Excellent value for money.

13/08/2024: 11.30 am 13/8 After half an hour of waiting I have to go to the counter to order and bring the aperitifs to the table. With the Campari spritz nothing is offered, at my request the girl at the counter snorts and says annoyed "I'll give you two chips" "if you want you can get a platter for a fee". Obviously I wasn't expecting the platter, even if at Campo Smith the competition offers you a small one to accompany the aperitif, two appetizers would have been enough for me. The employee was really unsympathetic, with the place half empty, so no stress. The dirty table was cleaned only at my request. Total disappointment.

15/08/2024: Came for the mid-August lunch. The food is certainly of quality, the fixed menu is plentiful with pleasant proposals and the place is very nice. But the service, unfortunately, is nowhere near up to par. Young guys with little experience, everything extremely disorganized and excessively long: different waiters who keep coming to the table asking us what course we were on, dishes arriving at the wrong tables, tables arriving later being served earlier (in any case, with a different order for each flow rate), lots of downtime that made us go hungry. We sat down at 12.45pm and finished at 5pm... honestly we were disappointed. We were more or less apologized at the end, but we weren't even offered water as a sign of courtesy (which, among other things, I had been told on the phone was included in the menu price).. honestly not I think managing a service in this way is acceptable, especially with a fixed menu, more organization should be guaranteed, at least respecting the order of arrival. Time to go out and we couldn't do anything anymore because everything was closed (e.g. the chairlift). If we return to Bardonecchia, we will opt for something else.

15/08/2024: Nice and welcoming place. Unfortunately, completely incompetent staff. Food and prices absolutely not in line with the type of place. I am very sorry to write a review like this but I have no memory of having eaten so badly and paid so dearly. I'll try again, maybe next year, in the hope of being able to find something changed, obviously for the better.

28/07/2024: Pessimi. Pessimi e pessimi. 9 chiamate in due giorni senza alcuna risposta!!!! Ci siamo anche fatti la strada inutilmente perché loro non rispondono al telefono!!!

20/07/2024: Beautiful place, good and nice food. Very large place so the service is sloppy, we received the food and drinks first.

27/08/2024: Cibo discreto, antipasti, primi e trota, crostata di mirtillo con un velo talmente sottile di marmellata che non si sente il sapore. Servizio scadente, si è obbligati a ordinare primi e secondi insieme( la chiamano "comanda"), ambiente caratteristico, prezzi decisamente alti in rapporto qualità. La cacciagione si limitava al cinghiale. Allegati prezzi aggiornati al 24 agosto 2024.

23/08/2024: Era da tanto che non venivo più a Bardonecchia. Questo locale mi ha sempre incuriosito moltissimo per le ottime recensioni. Ieri, dopo una bellissima passeggiata alla diga, ci siamo fermati per pranzo. Aspettative rispettate!!!! Piatti semplici ma gustosissimi, benché agosto, non poteva mancare polenta e salsiccia. Piatto dei formaggi superlativo, per non parlare del crumble al rabarbaro. Da provare 😋

26/08/2024: Excellent pizza and dessert, friendly owner, excellent prices. It's the only pizza that doesn't make me thirsty at night. We go there regularly

24/08/2024: Neglected and non-strategic environment. Rather small pizza, however with a decent taste and consistency. Unprofessional service. I don't recommend it, you can do much better with a few more smiles and care.
