02/09/2024: Historic refuge on Pian del Sole. You can get there by chairlift, by car and on foot. A short and healthy walk of about 3 km will take you to over 1500 metres. You can enjoy a wonderful view up there. But above all the climate is fantastic in this period. You can start from either Campo Smith or the Giolitti Fountain (tough route). Friendly and friendly service. The dishes are good and well made. You can rent an umbrella and two deckchairs for €10. They have recently finished renovating the house next door which they rent both in summer and winter.
30/08/2024: Very good restaurant with a large variety of dishes. I highly recommend you take the mountain cheese platter and don't skip the dessert!
Very friendly staff and quick service :)
The only flaw was the baked potatoes... they were delicious but cold.

La cucina sublime! Dall'antipasto al dolce si assapora l'amore per la cucina.
Senza parlare del servizio!!!
Posto consigliatissimo per chi volesse mangiare piatti tipici siciliani in montagna e rilassarsi un po'!
09/03/2024: Curiosi di provare cucina siciliana in montagna al confine con la Francia,caponata da favola ho pulito il piatto col pane non c era neanche bisogno di lavarli,poi spaghetti alle sarde ben fatti anche se non è il mio sugo preferito,finito con tiramisù al pistacchio porzione un Po troppo abbondante per me,comunque da provare intendo il ristorante

03/09/2024: The building appears a bit anonymous in appearance, while inside it is warm and welcoming. It also has some tables outside in the glass and veranda area, pleasant in the summer. The pizza is of the "Roman style" type, that is, a little thin and crunchy, it is very good and well stuffed. Well digestible. The staff were friendly and efficient. Speedy service. It is a very popular pizzeria, probably the best in Bardonecchia, so it is necessary, during the tourist period, to book well in advance. Cheap prices.

09/12/2024: Amazing place, really suggestive during Christmas. Friendly staff willing to find solutions: they prepared us a chocolate with soy milk for a lactose intolerant person (and I assure you it is a very rare kindness). I got a delicious chocolate cake.
08/12/2024: After a run-in period, they improved the quality. The restaurant offers good dishes at reasonable prices. The pizza is pan-fried. Good aperitifs. The room on the first floor is more refined. Restaurant at the start of the Smith field lifts. You can pay with credit/debit cards. They don't have Satispay

27/08/2024: Cibo discreto, antipasti, primi e trota, crostata di mirtillo con un velo talmente sottile di marmellata che non si sente il sapore. Servizio scadente, si è obbligati a ordinare primi e secondi insieme( la chiamano "comanda"), ambiente caratteristico, prezzi decisamente alti in rapporto qualità. La cacciagione si limitava al cinghiale. Allegati prezzi aggiornati al 24 agosto 2024.
23/08/2024: Era da tanto che non venivo più a Bardonecchia. Questo locale mi ha sempre incuriosito moltissimo per le ottime recensioni. Ieri, dopo una bellissima passeggiata alla diga, ci siamo fermati per pranzo. Aspettative rispettate!!!!
Piatti semplici ma gustosissimi, benché agosto, non poteva mancare polenta e salsiccia. Piatto dei formaggi superlativo, per non parlare del crumble al rabarbaro.
