17/06/2026: A restaurant with attentive service and good cuisine made with quality ingredients. The dishes are varied and well-presented, and the meat is excellent. The wine list is also good. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful.
The only flaw is that the furnishings are a bit heavy and inconsistent with the Hostaria name, as well as some details (like the poster at the register) that are out of place. But I still recommend it and will return.
13/06/2026: Quiet, family-friendly atmosphere, excellent food. Perfect for a quiet evening with friends. They often have "off-menu" dishes! Highly recommended!

24/06/2026: Great experience at Osteria del Borgo! We stopped for lunch along the highway, having found this little spot very convenient for a stop just a few minutes from the highway exit. And it was definitely worth it! Excellent food, delicious au gratin fish, and the staff were lovely... A stop here is highly recommended!
19/06/2026: I went with my partner a few nights ago and we had a really great time. The welcome and service were excellent, and you could tell the chef has a passion for cooking. The ingredients were very fresh and of the highest quality.
We'll definitely be back!

11/07/2026: A truly warm (family-style) welcome and an exceptional menu. Everything was cooked with fresh ingredients.
We stayed overnight with our three small dogs, who were very welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. What more can we say? We'll be back! 🤩

29/11/2025: Unfortunately, we weren't able to order anything because the owner rudely kicked us out of the place like two thieves, as we had a small 5kg dog with us. I recommend the owner put up a larger sign to highlight the prohibition.

15/08/2026: Good food and a beautiful location, but terrible service (too slow and disorganized). In summer, the air conditioning is practically nonexistent, and in winter, the fireplace heating is inadequate.
18/05/2026: We celebrated our son Leonardo's first communion and everything was perfect. The location was beautiful, overlooking the river, and the food was excellent, from appetizers to first courses, main courses, and dessert. All our guests raved about it. Kudos to the staff and owners, who were always friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs, especially our son, who is celiac. He loved everything. What can I say? Definitely recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

21/01/2026: Gorgeous place: immaculately maintained and with excellent staff availability and kindness. A little pricey, but nothing excessive.
19/01/2026: A place built for young people, it's a bit outdated now. It needs a bit of modernization, the outside area that welcomes cars needs fixing, too many potholes, and the food offerings are a bit disappointing.

20/04/2026: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We stayed at the campsite next to the restaurant and took advantage of the restaurant's excellent location, which was also aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, the food was not very good and very expensive, and the service wasn't the best either, what a shame!
07/02/2026: I couldn't have asked for anything better for my wedding, everything was beautiful from the food to feeling part of a team that caters to even the most difficult clients...to try.

30/03/2025: I've been living in Galliate for a year, and I was depressed because no pizzeria satisfied me even slightly. Then I went to this place to get some takeout pizzas for a group of elderly people with limited mobility. I was truly satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the pizzas. The vegetables were excellent, the ingredients were fresh, the Neapolitan dough was delicious, and the well-leavened dough didn't make you thirsty. Finally, a good pizza in Galliate.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I have to change my review because, a year later, we returned with the whole family—6 people—and the pizzas were all burnt to the bone. The only one that was good was the fried pizza, which was excellent. Too bad! I'll only return when I want fried food, but for wood-fired pizzas, I'll look elsewhere.
