21/10/2025: It feels like being at home in the Alta Langa, in a country house where traditional Piedmontese cuisine is revisited with taste and lightness. It offers a meat menu, an unusual fish menu, and, in October, we also discovered the Truffle Menu. The potato and hazelnut gnocchi on a Castelmagno cream and the crispy egg on a Castelmagno base with truffle shavings are exquisite (€4.50 per gram). The seafood menu also offers a delicious brisée tartlet with calamari and scallops on a cream of zucchini. To finish, a Madernassa pear caramelized in red wine with cinnamon ice cream and a selection of complimentary pastries. The service is friendly and discreet, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. Beautiful decor, complemented by vintage items that complement the ambiance, is also a highlight. Free parking is available.

06/12/2025: The place would be nice, if it weren't for the absurd treatment we received.
On our way from Milan, we stop and one of the three of us orders a coffee. Meanwhile, we read a sign saying the bathroom is for the exclusive use of those who consume it, not those accompanying us. We didn't feel like consuming anything and asked if we could still use the bathroom. The answer: if you make me a donation. We thought he was joking, but instead he makes us scrape together some coins in exchange for the key. I understand everything; bars aren't public restrooms, but as we pointed out, a little politeness and hospitality would be appreciated. We come here often, having a house in the Langhe, so he'll never see us again.

14/06/2025: Siamo già stati più volte in questo ristorante, prendendo sempre menù alla carta, piatti buoni e porzioni giuste. Siamo ritornati dopo qualche mese ed è cambiato qualcosa... preso il menù degustazione: non c'è assolutamente il rapporto qualità prezzo. Misero e caro. Anche la qualità dei piatti non era adeguata. Non ci è piaciuto.
27/04/2025: All'apparenza La Trattoria è molto semplice ma, in fin dei conti, i piatti risultano molto ben confezionati e più da ristorante. Assolutamente imperdibile la carne cruda all'albese e, soprattutto, il coniglio duus e Brusa, un'antica ricetta nata proprio in questo ristorante. Le ricette ovviamente si inseriscono pienamente nella tradizione gastronomica langarola. Molto professionali ed accoglienti i camerieri ed i titolari. Consigliamo una visita Soprattutto per il pranzo di mezzogiorno.
