08/03/2026: A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.

29/11/2025: Review of the restaurant only, with a fabulous view of the Langhe. The attentive service and attention to detail make for a truly satisfying dining experience. The smaller tasting menu includes truffles, reasonable prices, and a good wine list!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. The menu wasn't to our liking; we found each dish too sweet. We ate on the lovely veranda. It was a shame the hot air blew onto our table, which I had to ask them to turn off. The service was average, not particularly attentive. The bill was steep, but it didn't quite make up for our experience. I don't know if we'll be back.

19/03/2026: Something exceptional!! Stars aren't enough. The atmosphere takes you back to a timeless fairytale. Every room is perfect. Heated, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The staff, from Januz to Francesco, Noemi, and Christian, are all perfect! I can't stop thinking about them. My regards to the manager, who is not only intelligent, but also lively and extremely knowledgeable. I LOVE YOU

05/03/2026: I stayed two nights at Castello di Guarene. The castle is beautiful and its location in the Langhe is extraordinary, but unfortunately, the level of service was far below expectations for a property of this caliber. I had requested a bottle of Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial in my room before arriving: a random bottle arrived, and no one apologized in person. The service at dinner was inattentive: no one refilled our glasses with water or wine throughout the meal. There was no staff member present at the spa. At breakfast, we waited half an hour for avocado toast, which arrived inedible (rock-hard bread with avocado cream). The cocktail at the bar was also mediocre. The general feeling is that the property is run by a handful of young people, with no visible management presence. A place with great potential, but with service that certainly doesn't live up to Relais & Châteaux standards. ⸻ Spanish I stayed two nights in Guarene Castle. The castle is precious and the location in the Langhe is spectacular, but regrettably the level of service is much lower than what one expects from a hotel of this category. Before you leave, place a bottle of **Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial in your home. At the end you had a bottle of wine and some wine to explain yourself in person. At dinner the service was very clear: during the whole dinner I turned to filling the jars of water or wine. In the spa there is no member of the present staff. In the middle of the meal we were hoping for an uncommon avocado toast (hard bread with a cream of water). The food at the bar was also mediocre. The general impression is that the hotel is managed by a few young employees, without a visible presence of management. A place with great potential, but clearly not at the height of the Relais & Châteaux standards.

04/10/2025: Pizzas with a highly digestible dough, and the whole wheat dough is excellent. You can choose your toppings based on your preferences. Desserts are homemade. Easy parking and friendly, smiling staff. Home delivery available.

06/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent 🍕 pizza, light and very digestible, the dough stays crispy until the end, I personally love it, fair prices. Option to eat in, take out, or home delivery. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
