12/02/2025: We discovered this place by chance, booking at the last minute for a Sunday lunch. They were really nice and accepted our reservation and even at a slightly "inconvenient" time, close to the kitchen closing.
What can I say, we had a great time. A well-kept place, elegant, but at the same time warm and welcoming. Impeccable service, the guys are all young, helpful, smiling and prepared. We didn't try any starters, but the Angus sub shovel and tail were divine, they melted in your mouth. Prices in line with quality and service.
I hope to return soon.

26/02/2025: Excellent typical Piedmontese restaurant, very welcoming and overlooking the Gesso river valley, with the city of Cuneo in the background. Very friendly service. Typical menu, dishes cooked with quality raw materials, generous portions. Very good quality/price ratio. Must try!

I went to this place for lunch but unfortunately the only vegan option on the menu was a salad with lettuce, olives and aubergines.
There are some vegetarian options (especially regarding the first courses, a risotto and pasta), but I was disappointed to see that all the second courses offered were meat-based.
Almost all the dishes on the menu cost €10, the salad €8. However, I left hungry... the quality still seemed good to me.
11/12/2024: Entrare al Fossanese è come sentirsi a casa. Proprietari e camerieri amichevoli, cortesi e gentili. Colazioni top e pranzi ottimi : caffè buono, croissant buonissimi e super farciti, affettati tagliati sul momento, pasta fatta in casa come anche i secondi, le verdure e gli antipasti.
Per me è tappa obbligata per il pranzo del giovedì (e la colazione quando si può). Complimenti per l'intero servizio!

01/02/2025: I have visited this restaurant several times, both for lunch and dinner.
Located on the first floor, the restaurant is a large room furnished in rustic style, with wooden tables and elements that recall the peasant tradition.
You can choose a fixed menu for work for both lunch and dinner. Personally, however, I always prefer dishes from the à la carte menu, as the restaurant offers a rich variety of choices that vary weekly.
Immersing yourself in traditional Piedmontese dishes is a real pleasure.
The dishes are tasty and tasty, and you always leave with a full belly!
A big applause to the owners, Caterina and Maria, who with commitment and passion manage to provide pleasant moments.
The service is informal and friendly, although in crowded situations it can be a little slow. I have had the opportunity to try many different dishes on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and the food is genuine and well prepared. You can clearly perceive the type of traditional home cooking that is now difficult to find.
I highly recommend this place if you are passing through Fossano and want to enjoy a good meal. You will certainly be satisfied!

03/01/2025: Today after many phone calls... we call and the lady kindly answered we booked... and after 20 minutes we were seated to eat... simple environment of workers but nice... well made food... working lunch 12 euros......the ladies ran like crazy. Because there are only 2 of them... incredible nowadays that everyone is looking for work and they manage well on their own!!! GOOD!!!!
