22/04/2026: We stayed one night with four friends along the Oropa Way. The building was very well renovated. Elevator. Clean and spacious rooms with bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were simple but very good. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. In the square in front, there's a grocery store selling sandwiches and drinks useful for the walk.

12/04/2026: We ate here at Easter. Perhaps the place is more suited to overnight stays with bedrooms, because as far as the food is concerned, I can't find a single positive point. I'm speaking objectively, and I'm very sorry to say it, but the service was a 1 out of 10. We waited 45 minutes for each course, and just as long before the waitress noticed us. The place wasn't crowded, and such a wait is unjustifiable. However, after waiting so long, everyone at least thought they were eating good food—not gourmet, but good and hearty, like the inn/trattoria it presents itself as. Obviously, the opposite was true: mediocre dishes, to put it mildly, poorly planned: bland risotto, flavorless ravioli with roast beef sauce (I don't know why), all for the modest sum of €15! Another example: the platter with a small sampling of four appetizers for €22—madness. Not to mention the desserts at €6 each. You managed to keep me from eating a panna cotta for the first time in my life because it was literally pudding. You charge like a real restaurant, but if I shop at Esselunga and cook myself, I cook better and spend 1/10. You're a mediocre place, you charge like a mediocre place, and no one will complain. Cons: -waiting time -quality of service (ex: we sat down and they only brought us wine and no water, for over 30 minutes there. Or the waitress who forgot two orders, maybe) -price. Completely unjustifiable given the quality of the dishes and the raw materials used, as well as the execution. Pros: There aren't any, find another place to eat. I hope the overnight service is better, otherwise I can't explain all these stars. I'm giving it two stars only because the owner was kind and I hate to bring down local businesses. What's certain is that my family and I won't be returning, much less speaking highly of it.
