03/04/2024: Our magical place 💙 Eternally thanks to the legendary Francesco always in our hearts. A hug to Mrs. Lena, a wonderful woman. A wonderful restaurant, inn, hotel (tto).

30/01/2024: We spent a weekend with friends in the hills. Our friends invited us to this historic restaurant, they had our wedding lunch there years ago. Francesco the owner is a big man who definitely doesn't mince his words.. Here I saw for the first time what was meant in the past by battuta di carne, literally with a dish towel around his hand and a grooved cutting board under the meat, he punches it!! The meat becomes even softer, excellent and super abundant tasting menu: 6 appetizers (battita, egg, zucchini and parmesan salad, cotechino with fondue) 2 first courses (fresh gnocchi with butter and sage and ravioli with 3 roasts) and 2 second courses (tagliata and roast) not being able to finish the 3 desserts (bonnet, mint pudding and I don't remember). Unfortunately a few days after our dinner we received news of the passing of Mr. Francesco. It will remain a unique place, we sincerely hope that someone will pass on its entire history.

02/07/2024: Very nice b&b with spacious rooms and beautiful swimming pool on a wine estate. Very quiet, perfect to relax. Beautiful views and star-level food. Oh how delicious we ate and drank. Stayed twice for a week and from there explored the region to Genoa and Cinque Terre with a day cruise. Alba, Asti, Aqui Terme nearby. Also nice to go shopping in the MacArthur Glen in Allesandria.

06/11/2023: We ordered the pizza and were surprised by how good it was, how light and easy to digest. Congratulations to the pizza chef and all the staff. Well deserved 5 stars.

26/04/2025: Il servizio è ottimo e i ragazzi sono gentilissimi. Per non parlare del caffè, ottimo !!! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente..

01/05/2025: Posto che mi ha colpito per la posizione del locale e dei tavolini all aperto molto carina ma una volta seduti non si è presentato nessuno al tavolo per almeno una decina di minuti nonostante in quel momento non fosse troppo affollato,anzi subito dopo di noi si sono riempiti altri tre tavoli . Peccato non poter dare un giudizio sul cibo perché mi sono alzata e me ne sono andata.

22/11/2024: Posto consigliato per aperitivo lista vini inesistente tagliere aperitivo mediocre prezzo alto per l'offerta......

10/03/2025: Cibo ottimo e accoglienza impeccabile. Bellissima la location, da sfruttare anche come beb. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

10/11/2024: Ambiente piuttosto squallido e piccolo. La pizza pare quella dell’autogrill, anche se gli ingredienti erano di qualità. Per me il problema è proprio l’impasto, asciutto e croccante. Dalle recensioni sembra che la pizza piaccia, a me assolutamente no. Non ci torno mai più e non posso consigliare.

27/12/2024: Location molto bella nn presentabile dopo pranzo raggiungiamo il parcheggio del castello con le luci del telefono tt spento vi ricordo che e Natale ..... servizio pranzo darei 4 camerieri nn in grado confusionari e la cameriera altezzosa nn se lo può permettere ....il cibo x carità darei 5 x essere gentile impiattato che neanche in una trattativa di paese poteva essere peggiore sapore nn comment se veramente ospitate matrimoni ed eventi spero che abbiate un catering esterno ...nn lo consiglieremo assolutamente negativo

13/10/2024: La.location è stupenda, curata nei minimi dettagli, ma non è minimamente attrezzata per l'accesso ai disabili, in quanto si arriva al ristorante solo dopo avere salito una cinquantina di gradini, sono in parte aggirabili con una rampa alternativa in acciottolato. Stesso discorso per il bagno dei maschi, accessibile solo dai gradini. Il menù era accettabile, ma l'esperienza più sgradevole riguarda il banchetto di nozze, iniziato alle 15:00 e terminato alle 20:30 invece che alle 18:30, senza che il caposala o il cuoco si sia presa la briga di scusarsi. Consigliato solo alle lumache molto pazienti.
