Bar Ristorante Adria
Pontestura
04/01/2025: Locale carino, piatti ricercati e di ottima qualità, personale gentile che li descrive con doviziosità, vini un po cari dai 20 € in su, si dve essere preparati ad una spesa dai 50 euro in su a testa. Una tantum va bene
25/12/2024: If you're willing to spend a whole day for lunch, it's fine...nice place but too slow

Belvedere
Pontestura
21/12/2024: I write at the restaurant table. Here at the Belvedere there is nothing that even has the appearance of improvisation. Here everything is perfect and the quality is very high. Every time I return and sit down, the discovery of flavors, colors and triumphs of Piedmontese cuisine begins again. I won't explain anything: it would contravene the healthy curiosity of those who want to try it for themselves. He wouldn't regret it.
23/11/2024: Excellent quality food, everything always delicious. The price in line with what you eat. The service is impeccable from all the waiters.
We had chosen a dish from the menu which then arrived at the table slightly different, but so good that we didn't even realise. But to apologize from the kitchen they still sent us the dish that was on the menu, simply by having changed it on the same day they made a mistake.
Obviously there was no need as we were satisfied but it was a highly appreciated and very professional gesture. Congratulations to everyone for how you do your job, which can never be taken for granted!
It is always a pleasure to spend an evening with you.

Ristorante Casa Anna
Pontestura
12/09/2023: In our opinion, one of the most noteworthy restaurants in the Monferrato Casalese (and beyond): managed by a husband and wife with extensive experience in running a historic restaurant in the area. Now, within the structure that includes their home, they have created a welcoming environment with only three large round tables (in addition to a small veranda outside, which we didn't see in use). Meals are prepared in a professionally equipped kitchen where he is the sole protagonist, while she serves the customers in the dining room. The establishment can accommodate only a few diners and is open from Thursday to Saturday evenings, as well as for Sunday lunch.
The cuisine served here is of a high standard and reflects extraordinary passion. The dishes are prepared on the spot using excellent raw materials, with choices tied to the local area but executed with creativity and reinterpretation, albeit not in a sophisticated manner. Outstanding items on the menu include the rabbit tuna, Fassona beef tartare, pork "tonnato" (in place of veal), vegan "agnolotti del plin," tagliolini with ragù, duck leg, and guinea fowl. All the desserts we tried were excellent, including the ice creams. The amuse-bouche and pre-dessert were delightful. The wine list is extensive, which is surprising for such a small establishment.
You'll need to search for Casa Anna, as it's located on a secondary road, but it's a visit you won't forget. Prices are commensurate with what is offered, so they are higher than the local average but well-deserved.
