08/03/2024: Tanti gli aspetti positivi che mi spingono a provare il ristorante self-service "Il Quirino" di Jesi, dall’ampio parcheggio gratuito all’ubicazione del locale (non distante dal centro), dalla sala da pranzo arredata con gusto – e di dimensioni generose – alla possibilità di scegliere fra ben cinque primi e altrettanti secondi, con la possibilità di integrare l’offerta a piacere con contorni vari, caffè e golosi dessert. Nel menu del giorno opto per dei sedanini al tonno come primo, seguiti da una porzione di pesce San Pietro al limone accompagnata da patate al forno...aggiungendo mezzo litro di acqua minerale e tralasciando dolce e caffè, il conto si attesta a soli 13,70 EUR...però, niente male, prezzi davvero concorrenziali e porzioni generose. Mi accomodo, inizio a mangiare ed iniziano le note dolenti: i sedanini nuotano in un mare di olio e un terribile sapore dell’aglio stracotto ammanta qualsiasi altro aroma...più di metà dell’abbondante porzione di sedanini al tonno rimane nel piatto. Passo al pesce San Pietro al limone, nulla di trascendentale, ma almeno il sapore delicato del pesce è salvo e preservato dalla nota acidula del limone, le patate sono salatissime e rimangono lì, nel piatto, come i sedanini al tonno che le hanno precedute. Il giudizio finale sull’esperienza è che qui, di certo, si spende poco, ma è altrettanto certo che da "Il Quirino" si mangia male.

09/07/2024: We had an opportunity to visit Cantina del Porticello and we were delighted. The cantina is not large, it's very intimate, and where it is located is a beautiful setting. The wines and food we tasted were great, along with the owner/operator of the cantina being a delightful host. We purchased some wine, which we were able to enjoy later on our trip. Our experience being there was wonderful and would welcome the opportunity to visit this establishment again. Truly delightful!

16/08/2024: I am thrilled to read the positive reviews which I notice are largely oriented towards bruschetta. Nothing abnormal given that the place is known in an area like La Brusca. I had the misfortune of sharing the mid-August lunch at Paoloni's with a few other friends. Price already known at the time of booking of 35 euros. Those who, like most of you, have visited several restaurants, are not surprised if during special holidays the restaurateurs "charge" the price a little to the detriment of the service and often also the quality. I'm not here to quibble about the "older" place. Not even a vain attempt to cool the place (with 100 diners) with 2 huge noisy and inefficient fans and with the windows open nullifying everything. It's mid-August, very hot... that's fine too. But eating 3 (not a random but precise number) of tortelloni, a small Flemish one with half tagliatelle and half bones for 5 adult guests, a Flemish one with 4 pieces of meat, 10 pieces of roast potatoes (again for 5 adults ) and lots of bones (legs and wings without meat), a saucer with 5 small slices of rosbeef, a saucer of salad to divide by counting the leaves, 5 small pieces of watermelon with a hint of ice cream on top as dessert and simple watermelon as fruit and feeling saying that the coffees and any digestive bitters were not included in the menu (35 euros) was the icing on the cake. Never once did I attempt to revise with any dish. I forgot, to complete the intake of all of the above from 12.30pm to 4.00pm. It is said that experience is a collection of rip-offs. Even though I am over sixty and thought I had seen it all, I missed this great experience. And to think that I had also been warned by several friends. Have a good experience everyone.

14/08/2024: Jesi (mazzangrugno) RISTOTRANTE LA BRUSCA specialità le bruschette al metro In 2 abbiamo preso un menu completo (primo-matriciana-secondo-salsicce alla brace-contorno -patate fritte- 1l acqua -1/4 di vino 18€) e un tagliere di formaggi con pane caldo fatto da loro e marmellate. 30,50€ in 2. Si mangia sia al chiuso che all’esterno. Buono

25/08/2024: Elegant and peaceful environment. Very good food, we had a starter of cured meats, generous portion. As a second course we took the sliced ​​Fassona rare, top cooked, together it was accompanied by fried chips and an express barbecue sauce, the latter had a particular and excellent flavour. Congratulations for the service, excellent quality/price. All accompanied by a bottle of house red wine. To conclude we had the mojito semifreddo, which was also very good.
