28/07/2026: We had a family lunch at Granai, a fairytale location with very kind and helpful owners and excellent dishes made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. We'll definitely be back, especially for a very special event next year!
17/07/2026: We got married at Granai Certosa on June 20th, and everything was perfect. The venue has a beautiful rustic style, but with great attention to detail.
Elena, Sabina, and Alessandra were fantastic: they accommodated every request we had, saying yes to everything. We wanted a quick and lively dinner, and they were excellent at scheduling the event with precision and attentiveness.
The staff provided excellent support from the first contact and even the day before with the decorations. During the aperitif, they were so attentive, constantly bringing us small plates to make sure we had something to eat. We received compliments from all our guests on the venue, the quality of the food, and the organization itself (no frills and no downtime). The ceremony under the trees and the cake cutting at sunset were incredibly intimate and romantic moments.
We had so much fun dancing in the stables room and greatly appreciated the gift they left for us the next day. Their recommendations for suppliers were also excellent, especially the florist, who was truly excellent!
Highly recommended if you're looking for a special, sincere place with a reliable team!

Very fast, very kind, and above all, ridiculous prices for what they offer: €11 for a full meal, including drinks and cover charge. Something that seems almost impossible to find these days.
The food is good, the atmosphere is simple and honest, and it feels like a classic "old-school" place, which unfortunately is increasingly rare in my part of Livorno. Truly amazing!

15/08/2026: I returned for the second time because I was invited and couldn't say no, but it served to confirm the terrible experience of the last time.
The usual stable transformed into a hall (but also a barracks refectory) with the usual excessive confusion. In fact, you feel like cows waiting for hay with staff bustling at the tables. Maximum respect for their work.
Appetizer (actual quantities):
A vegetable tart as salty as the sea.
3 (three) slices of salami
4/5 balls of fried potatoes
First course: 6/7 ravioli, maybe ricotta and some herbs, with tomato sauce
Second course: meat/ribs? With a heavy sauce.
1 bottle of wine.
A dessert, perhaps a white tiramisu (obviously made by grandma's expert hands...)
3 slices of watermelon
Moka coffee
Limoncello
All in a beautiful rural setting outside, but the food doesn't remind you of anything rustic.
The next time I visit this place, I'll recommend spending a good 40 euros elsewhere. Far from a farmhouse...
02/08/2026: I'm giving one star because it's the lowest I can give. It can't be called a canteen because I'd offend canteens. We made a reservation here to celebrate an anniversary; looking at the website, we expected completely different and carefully prepared dishes. Starting with the mixed cured meats as advertised on the menu, we were only served salami, and well, that was probably the only thing that filled our stomachs. Pasta alla norma was unremarkable, bland and overcooked.
The second course was frozen vegetables (chopped croissants for volume) and ribs. Nothing special. It was the first time in my life I was left with an empty stomach. The only positive thing was Mrs. Nadia, who was very kind and lovely. Don't get carried away by the photos on Instagram; you'll end up at another agriturismo, which wasn't a agriturismo at all. Never again.

23/06/2024: Vengo spesso in questo locale, sia per sedermi ai tavoli oppure per ordinare take away. Le pizze sono molto buone ma ovviamente ciò per cui vale davvero la pena fermarsi è la cucina cinese: tanta offerta di piatti, tutto fresco e davvero molto buono. Non ha nulla da invidiare ai rispettivi locali cinesi delle grandi città come Milano. Personale gentile e molto disponibile. Super consigliato!

Cibo nelle aspettative, buono il pesce, la carne ed i primi normali. Da migliorare la cantina dei vini, quasi sconosciute le etichette a chi ci serviva, tra l'altro servite bottiglie già aperte, e niente di che, e poi, il servizio...simpatici e gentili, ma professionionalmente non preparati.
