14/12/2025: The food was excellent, worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The beautifully decorated dining room created the perfect atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff attentively serving the ladies first, and special attention was paid to those with allergies and intolerances, not only by offering alternative dishes but also by marking the guest's location with a place card.
08/11/2025: A dear friend's birthday party.
Excellent quality and flavorful appetizers.
The Carnaroli risotto was amazing, and the meat-based main course was exceptional. Damiano Dorati, for me, confirms one of the best restaurants in the Oltrepò Pavese area. Must try!

09/02/2026: Everything was perfect: quality local wines, food (the charcuterie boards shortened my life by 10 years, but made it worth living). Exceptional owners, with heart, taste, education, and friendliness. I'll be back as soon as I can. KAIMANO!!

31/12/2025: SantoPalato Restaurant - Casteggio: Creative cuisine and beautifully presented dishes in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
21/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, due to a reservation error, and I was glad for that mistake, because otherwise I wouldn't have discovered this place.
The chef explains his dishes and prepares them with all his passion, using excellent ingredients.
You'll find unique and diverse dishes, and this probably makes it not for everyone, but for those who want to discover more.
Everything is done slowly; the chef tends to just a few tables, which makes for a calm, relaxed, and quiet atmosphere.
Having a Christmas dinner with friends, being able to chat calmly without hearing the stories coming from other tables, is a precious thing.
Go there, you won't regret it.

22/02/2026: A highly refined, light, and easily digestible pizza. A rare find where you can pair your favorite pizza with a local sparkling wine from the Oltrepò area. We've been traveling 30 kilometers to eat their pizza for years.
07/01/2026: Pizza with a frozen base (I saw the pizza chef take a pizza from a pile of pre-made, pre-prepared, frozen bases). No comment. I don't understand how they made such a decision. I've been a customer for years and years, but I don't think I'll be returning. Not recommended.

22/02/2026: Refrigerated/frozen gluten-free pizza, cooked in the same oven as regular pizza, with just a foil plate underneath, served in a box without a lid and with a regular pizza on top!! It violates all HACCP regulations and costs more than a regular pizza.
I completely advise against it.
I asked the guy to cut it, he said he'd already done so, and when I got to the car, I realized it wasn't even cut.
EDIT: In response to the very kind person who replied, YOU should be the ones to inform them that the gluten-free pizza you offer isn't really gluten-free, but "maybe gluten-free" :). Maybe the NAS I informed will check further in the next few days.

07/03/2025: Agriturismo situato sulle colline con vista meravigliosa. Cibo della tradizione locale, ottimo e con possibilità di fare il bis per ogni portata. Complimenti al personale gentilissimo e premuroso. Prezzo nella norma.
Ritorneremo sicuramente.
27/10/2024: Se sono in zona cerco di andarci.Per il posto meraviglioso, per il cibo genuino ed abbondante, il tutto in una casa padronale pazzesca. Un plauso alla famiglia che lo gestisce.

02/08/2025: We just wanted to drink a glass of wine and while entering the place we already felt that we were not welcome. When we asked to move tables inside in the, btw, empty bar, because of the loud music outside, the woman did not allow us to change tables "as it was a table for four." Perhaps it was just a long day for those working inside but we will not come back
04/05/2025: Siamo andati a fare un aperitivo direi i vini buoni ma taglieri e servizio pessimo attesa lunga e non ci hanno portato nemmeno tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato, prezzi folli aperitivo per 4 persone 50€

08/08/2024: Number One: signora molto accogliente,talmente era il sole dietro al bancone che portava gli occhiali da sole, oltretutto ci ha abbagliato con la sua euforica gentilezza,il bagliore è stato così forte che siamo usciti e ci siamo diretti in farmacia a prendere il collirio.
