18/02/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times so far. The pizza I ordered had excellent quality ingredients, especially the beautiful toppings. My friends also ordered appetizers and desserts and loved them. Another thing that's not a given, even though we're in Italy, is the coffee. I found it exceptional, nice and creamy, having had it with milk, and not at all with the burnt aftertaste that so often occurs.
I recommend it!
14/02/2026: Let me start by saying that the pizza is truly excellent. Light dough and quality ingredients. They could use a better approach to service, but they'll definitely improve. We'll be back.

05/10/2025: On Sunday morning, I decided to stop by and try something... the staff were incredibly kind. Erica was just finishing decorating some cakes, which looked incredible! I had them make me a small package of cookies, cannoli, and lobsters... everything was delicious! Especially the many cookies and sweets you can't find everywhere! This place is well-kept and highly recommended.

22/02/2026: What can I say... friendly, helpful staff, ready to meet any customer need... excellent products for all needs (small pastries, dry pastries, cakes, etc.), a clean and quiet place for breakfast, with hot drinks and croissants, or a quiet tea with friends with fantastic dry pastries... absolutely worth trying!!!
22/02/2026: I'd like to start by saying I've been a customer for over 30 years at their store on Via Bessarione in Milan. Last Saturday, I bought 9 chiacchiere (6 baked and 3 chocolate) and 12 tortelli with custard and Chantilly cream at their Melegnano store. I paid €27.
A disappointment: the chiacchiere weren't fresh at all; they tasted old and stale. The tortelli were decent enough, but they had too much of a lemony aftertaste in the cream, which wasn't noticeable before.
They're not what they used to be.

11/10/2025: I bought some panzerotti for the first time last night with friends. They were really excellent, with a very delicate and dry dough. The only flaw is that the shop is a bit hidden, but it's easy to find via Google Maps. I'll definitely be back soon.
10/10/2025: It's not the classic shop but, a house in a dead-end street, the food is neither good nor bad, the panzerotto dough is decent, I found the sauce a little acidic and the frying remains too evident

My partner and I stopped here on a recommendation for a quick lunch, and La Fossa directly exceeded our expectations.
The dishes are simple, plentiful, and tasty.
The service is excellent, and that's the real strength of this place, as is the value for money.
