The staff is professional, very attentive and courteous, and I might add, friendly ;)
The quality of the food is excellent, from the starters to the meat.
I highly recommend it.
12/07/2025: Neat, clean, and quiet location. Excellent food!! Excellent local appetizers. Delicious meat, excellent quality cuts. Attentive and friendly staff. Customer service is truly rare, especially when it comes from the owner.
The outdoor area is also beautiful. The garden is well-maintained with private corners.
I definitely think I'll be back and I highly recommend it.
Parking is easy to find nearby. Prices are average considering the quality of the products.

My partner and I stopped here on recommendation for a quick lunch and La Fossa directly exceeded our expectations.
The dishes are simple, plentiful and tasty.
As far as the service is concerned, it is excellent, and it is the real strong point of this place as well as the value for money.

A welcoming and familiar place where you can enjoy excellent traditional dishes and relax with a coffee or an aperitif at the bar. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere and excellent quality. Ideal for a break or lunch with friends!

09/05/2025: We went on a Sunday evening with 6 friends. I really liked the very informal environment, which is reminiscent of a trattoria, the old table, the chairs each different from the other, simple and warm. The starters and cured meats were very good, we had 2 first courses: the agnolotti tasted of nothing, the gnocchi tastier. The packaged desserts are a tiramisu and a torrentino. The portions are measured, the first courses are passable and not even sweet. Let's say that with commitment, you can improve

22/07/2025: We had pizza on Saturday night. The atmosphere is nice, we chose to dine outside. The table was a bit small for three, with drinks, cutlery, pizzas, and other items. Service was quick and friendly. I wasn't thrilled with the pizzas... mine in particular was a little burnt and cold/lukewarm, so it sat still before being served. Since it had mortadella, it would have been delicious served piping hot. What a shame! The Margherita was quite good, and the other pizza with sausage and chips arrived plain, without tomato sauce; perhaps that should be specified. Overall, however, we ate quite well.

I never know what to get... the hotdogs are delicious.
Sliced pizza for €5, really good.
You can eat in and there's no cover charge 👌excellent and very welcome.

11/07/2025: Today I bought a cake...never to return...they sell it as fresh that day and then inside it was dry and hard.

08/07/2025: This is a traditional trattoria, with a history that makes it an interesting place. Curiously, it once had a license to sell charcoal. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food is quite simple, making it good for a quick lunch.
