Comfortable place, dinner was impeccable

A nice place in the central square of Melegnano, friendly and professional staff. A good menu. For me the risotto with katsuobushi is the best! Try it, you won't regret it.

Good restaurant, slightly over priced.

Beautiful restaurant in the center of Melegnano. Elegant environment, well set tables. Vast and refined menu with also a separate menu based on truffles. The wine list is also good. I had lunch in this restaurant on Easter Monday and I tasted some ravioli filled with lime ricotta and duck cooked at a low temperature: divine. Generous portions and fair price. Courteous staff and fast service. Clean bathrooms. Bitter offered. Highly recommended. I'll be back

A warm and welcoming place with appetizing and very well prepared dishes. The wine list is good and ranges from the territory to the rest of Italy. The meat is always very good and the Milanese cutlet is truly out of the ordinary. To try.

Genuine and well-kept place, cuisine attentive to quality that interprets the tradition of these places where Milanese cuisine blends with that of Lodi but everything with a touch of contemporaneity. Excellent ingredients, as well as the choice of wines and homemade desserts; very empathetic staff who contribute to having a good evening.

Lunch break during the week: excellent cut accompanied by baked potatoes and salad; quiet and welcoming environment; friendly and helpful staff. Cost appropriate to the quality of the products and the service.

Before giving a good review, I always have to come back for the second time, I must say very knowledgeable and helpful staff and the dishes are really high quality and plentiful, which is now becoming a rarity given the high prices of raw materials, so I would say excellent in all I will gladly return

Erano tanti anni, davvero tanti, che non ci tornavo e nonostante alcuni cambi di gestione “Il Portone” è ancora una garanzia. Il servizio è ottimo, ragazzi e ragazze molto giovani che colmano alcune lievi lacune conoscitive con una disponibilità e una gentilezza sincera di alto livello, dimostrando una importante volontà di crescita. La materia prima è di alto livello ed è lavorata sapientemente, tra i piatti suggerisco le alici fritte, pinoli, uvetta su crema di polenta di Storo, cipolle rosse e pomodorini marinati e il risotto al melograno, fonduta di Pannerone, granella di pistacchio. La sbrisolona, che ha la particolarità di essere preparata utilizzando farina di mais, è molto gustosa ma è un po’ poco torta sbrisolona. La cantina è molto interessante e intrigante con un’attenzione anche ai vini di produzione biologica. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto. Sicuramente ci tornerò e consiglio di provarlo
