16/01/2025: 10 minutes from Lake Garda. Trattoria Santa Maria. In Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN). Lunch for 14 euros which includes a rich buffet, first course, second course, water, wine and coffee. Warm and welcoming room. Place frequented by workers and pensioners. It's easier to find a seat than 1pm. The quality of the dishes is excellent. I opted for the orecchiette with turnip tops and skewer. All really good — eating lunch at Trattoria Albergo S. Maria.

10/11/2024: What can I say, restaurants as you would always like them: few frills, a lot of concreteness but above all raw materials, with fish arriving fresh from Sicily 2/3 times a week and dishes cooked in a divine way.
Everything is freshly prepared, so you might wait a moment longer, but you will be rewarded with unique and superlative dishes.
Tommaso, uniquely kind and originally from Messina, takes care of the dining room, while his wife gives free rein to her creativity in the kitchen.
As starters we opted for a real octopus with very soft and freshly blanched potatoes and a swordfish parmigiana which brought to mind Sunday lunches at my grandmother's house.... VERY GOOD!
For the first courses, linguine with sea urchins and linguine with raw purple prawn steak from Mazara, stracciatella and cherry tomatoes... a unique taste... you could taste the sea!
We concluded with two excellent decomposed cannolis that were equally good.
Everything perfect, ingredients, cuisine and great hospitality and kindness.
I highly recommend it and we will definitely return to dine there!
09/11/2024: Delicious food, relaxing environment and Mr. Tomasso and his wife are always welcoming and ready to make you feel at home. The paella from Messina is amazing. I will be back soon soon.

13/01/2025: Brioche often have little or no filling. If your prices are dictated by quality, the customer expects quality not only in the material used but also in the final result including the filling which is an important part in the creation of brioches. I know that the bakery is a separate business, but I would say that there, the prices are too high compared to the goodness/quality of the bread and savory products. I admire your ability to make desserts, panettone is always very good, ditto cakes and pastries. There is mastery. I just hope you take the above into consideration. Good work!
06/01/2025: Nothing to say. It is a quiet, clean, comfortable place. But in my opinion €7.00 for a herbal tea is really out of the ordinary

Primi piatti scarsi ..servizio lento abbiamo aspettato tanto per ogni comanda e prezzi Abbastanza alti per quello che abbiamo preso ..non ci ritornerei un altra volta

09/02/2025: Perdonati la settimana prima ma ieri sera hanno sbagliato 3 volte un calzone, il primo senza pomodoro, il secondo hanno sbagliato a portarlo che era di altro tavolo, il terzo dimenticato i peperoni e ai nostri amici pizza bruciata che appena chiamato il metre non mi ha fatto nemmeno dire il perché ed ha portato via la pizza. La settimana prima cosa analoga. Non ci andremo più. Sconsigliata.

13/10/2024: While passing through we stopped for a quick bite to eat. We ordered a scrocchiarella and a pinsa recommended by the manager. Both delicious: crunchy, well cooked and very stuffed. Definitely worth doing again…

08/02/2025: Let me start by saying that I am sorry to write such a negative review.
My family and I have been their customers since they opened, but right away they didn't stand out for their punctuality. We justified this by saying they had just opened. They continued to delay, so we decided not to order from this pizzeria anymore.
After a long time, about a year, we tried again because we wanted to taste their excellent products again, with their more than affordable price. However, they gave us confirmation that nothing has changed, in fact they have gotten worse. Today I ordered two pizzas and a calzone... The calzone didn't arrive, the other pizza was supposed to be with asparagus and sausage but the sausage wasn't there.
I don't want this review to be taken as insulting or anything like that. But I want it to be helpful and to be taken as a starting point for improvement... 🤗🤗🤗
12/12/2024: Very good pizzas, I recommend the double dough. Helpful and kind guys. Generous portions, and the wooden tables give that extra touch to the place.
There are also gluten-free pizzas.
