03/11/2024: Magic happens in this little ice cream shop 😄, an excellent product served by a good guy. The colic cream is very good. In my opinion, however, it should find a slightly larger place, it seems a bit sacrificed in terms of space. Bear in mind that I stayed in Colico for an extra hour to taste it, not because it wasn't good but because the ice cream was wonderful. Bye, see you next time.🍦🍧🍨

19/10/2024: The best ice cream on Lake Como. There is a great selection and the owner, Raphaela, is very friendly and accommodating. Travel tips are included for free. We have been here several times during our vacation.

01/01/2025: We had pizza and meat for dinner. Good value for money: deep but crunchy pizza, meat cooked just right and tender. Good service. We will be back

02/01/2025: I truly hope this restaurant reopens soon. It’s not just any restaurant – it’s the place where so many memories of my childhood were made, and even the childhoods of my mother. Whenever friends visit us at Lake Como, this is the spot they always want to go to. It’s the most nostalgic and cherished place for all of us. The thought of not being able to go there anymore genuinely breaks my heart. It’s a family-run gem, and the food has always been fantastic. It’s irreplaceable.

08/02/2025: Really amazing food, I've tried various restaurants here in Colico, and this is definitely one of the best. I ate the leek and taleggio gnocchi, I think they were among the best I've ever eaten. The prices are not low, but the quality is truly excellent

13/10/2024: Lovely place, clean, tidy, warm and welcoming. The rooms are very nice and equipped with every comfort. The cuisine is truly excellent and the raw materials are of high quality. All topped off with an excellent price/quality ratio! The icing on the cake? The landlady, Sara, is a fantastic person... I felt at home: pampered and part of the family! I have been there, I have returned and I will return every time I need to sleep or eat in these areas. Thank you very much, truly! An affectionate hug to all the staff and the landlady 🤗

01/01/2025: We stayed as a couple for New Year's Eve. Very large and clean room and bathroom (dated but nice and welcoming furnishings), with excellent soundproofing considering the barrels outside. The spa is small but functional and with good service, suitable for the cost (only €10 per person). Rich breakfast with buffet. Parking is also included in the services. Friendly and helpful staff.

02/02/2025: Ogni volta che mi trovo nelle vicinanze, Il Ristorante Capolago è tappa fissa. Locale super accogliente, curato nei dettagli con gusto ed eleganza. Menù ricercato e di alta qualità. Personale super accogliente, attento alle esigenze del cliente, ad ogni sua richiesta e per questo propongono alternative ottime sia per celiaci che vegetatiani etc.. mantenendo sempre alta la qualità. Ristorante adatto sia per coppie, famiglie che per persone che viaggiano da sole. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!! Da provare !!!

03/02/2025: Ottima la pizza, la migliore dei ristoranti della zona, piacevole anche la cucina a mio parere. L'unico inconveniente, spesso le portate arrivano non sufficientemente calde, e questo è un vero peccato! E' stato gentilmente fatto notare al personale, ma non è cambiato nulla.

05/02/2025: I’ve enjoyed many Italian meals that I didn’t care to write about, but I do want to write about this establishment. Upon entering this establishment, the atmosphere was great. The dining room was warm with high ceilings and it was open, the way I like it. The server was very friendly and greeted us with a smile, unlike many other places that was very cold to the point and not very friendly. My wife and I ordered a fresh green salad each and a pizza. Nothing to really write home about. But the mixed green salad was fantastic. I’m not sure if it was the combination of very fresh green and grilled vegetables or the dressing or whatever but I didn’t have to add anything extra. The pizza was very flavorful and not too salty. The pizza dough was cooked perfectly with no burnt crust edges, and the bacon was very flavorful. It turns out this was family operation. Probably like most other small restaurants in Italy. The father was the cook, the mother was the bartender and the daughter was the server. This restaurant is definitely highly recommended if you’re a traveler and just passing through Coleco.

28/01/2025: What an amazing gem of a traditional Italian restaurant. Less than one minute walk from the Colico ferry pier. It’s food was ambience is wonderful. We had a very attentive waiter who looked after us on both of the evenings we visited. We only stayed two nights on Colico so that tells you how good an experience we had on our first night. We had the meat starter to share and my wife had Gnocchi and I tried the mixed fish grille, both were excellent. The second night my wife had the same again and I had the fish linguine. Both evenings we experienced true Italian cuisine and had excellent service. We will be returning to Colico again and we will be revisiting Per…bacco

27/01/2025: [in response to comment, lunch on 02/18/24] Negative experience, I do not recommend this place. We were here for lunch, we had a reservation at 12:30 and it was my father's birthday; we were welcomed to the table 30 minutes after our reservation and after another 30 minutes they finally brought us the menus.. We ordered, ate and called the waiter for the second courses but surprise, KITCHEN CLOSED and we could no longer order anything.. Indignant, we got up, paid and left.. Even though we still had to finish our drinks and everything.. Not a negative experience, more so! I absolutely do not recommend stopping here!
