02/09/2025: Wow! An inconspicuous roadside restaurant, nice and fast service, and the food! Local trout with zucchini slices, pork ribs with polenta…you have to try it! I highly recommend it.

29/08/2025: We were here on a rainy Friday in August. We, Crotto lovers, were craving a good plate of pizzoccheri, and we were pleasantly surprised. Delicious pizzoccheri; a homemade recipe passed down from the family. Fresh, quality ingredients justify the menu prices. Highly recommended if you're passing through Bellano. It is a family-run restaurant with a history rooted in a traditional restaurant: "Crott del Balin," frequented by hikers along the Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer's Path). In the 1960s, the Denti family took over the current management, expanding and transforming it into what is now Crotto di Biosio. This restaurant is part of the Biosio farmhouse, which also offers accommodations, an olive oil mill, a swimming pool, and relaxation. --- Atmosphere and Location Spectacular panoramic location: overlooking Lake Como and nestled just above the lake, surrounded by greenery. The views are highlighted as one of the restaurant's strong points by reviews. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. There are indoor rooms with fireplaces, very pleasant in the winter, and outdoor tables/terraces that allow you to dine al fresco while enjoying the view in the warmer seasons. It is suitable for both relaxed occasions and special occasions. They organize evenings with live music, aperitifs overlooking the lake, parties, and private receptions. --- Cuisine and Menu Typical local cuisine, with strong ties to the local area. 23/09/2025: My mom and I had breakfast Sunday morning at this café with a beautiful lake view and were delighted, both with the quality of the products (the almond cream brioche was delicious) and the courtesy of the lady who served us, who was incredibly kind! The restrooms were clean and fragrant! The prices were fair and reasonable! I recommend it!

03/10/2025: A very delicious Italian restaurant! 🍕🥗 The tuna pizza, fresh salad, and seafood pasta were excellent. Friendly service, fair prices, and a beautiful view – highly recommended!
