Please, it is always better to book or at least make a phone call which costs nothing, what can I say...enjoy your meal!!! Abundant quality home cooking and at a truly negligible price, at Mara you can taste and enjoy traditional foods from the past that are almost impossible to find with flavors that will remind you, awaken your senses, leading you to enjoy traditional dishes that are almost out of use...thank you for the emotions you can give through food👍👍👍👋👋👋👋😜😜😜

10/02/2025: Nice experience. Very friendly, polite and well-prepared staff. We chose a six-course menu, €50 each but it was worth it, very good local products and an excellent wine, a pinot noir. I highly recommend.

21/12/2024: Dinner arrived at 8pm first courses aperitif arrived at 9.30pm x then extended the first course acceptable the cut never seen something like that I don't publish the photos it's better the dessert arrived at 1.30pm let's not talk about the coffee we didn't drink it there were 23 of us dissatisfied x 55 euros for me first and last time congratulations keep it up
17/12/2024: New Year's Eve "dinner"... we arrive at 9pm, the buffet starters are already finished, we settle for a few glasses of wine and go to the table.
After 1 hour they serve the first course, 4 gnocchi (four in number) with scampi sauce, nothing special by the way, and after the midnight toast they serve the second course, a bland sea bass accompanied by 4 baked potatoes (probably frozen) ..
To finish, a tiny slice of panettone that I even didn't eat because it must have been 2 in the morning...
A bottle of wine for every 3 people.
The price? €100
€100 for 4 dumplings and a sea bass which are better at the soup kitchen.
Until well past midnight we had to endure a "singer" who broke our ears (to say the least) for almost the entire evening, they probably thought they had assumed a mix between Gianni Morandi and Kurt Cobain since the volume was high.
A total DISASTER, I will definitely never set foot in this place again

27/01/2025: Vale la pena di andarci apposta per sedersi a tavola e gustare una cucina davvero genuina e fatta con amore per gli ingredienti e la preparazione
Mondo (che non è definizione geografica, ma il diminutivo del proprietario) ti accoglie e ti offre i suoi prodotti e la loro storia con evidente passione per il suo lavoro,orgoglioso di proporti assaggi integrativi al menù
Informato preventivamente della presenza di due commensali vegani hanno preparato piatti molto gustosi e non banali,che sono stati apprezzati con assaggini anche dagli onnivori
Adatto anche per i bambini ( vi sono due giochini per intrattenerli a tavola) e poi è possibile visitare la stalla con ovini,conigli,pollame razzolante
Torniamo a trovarti,Mondo, anche senza la concomitante visita storica a Soncino. Grazie a te ed alla cuoca
21/01/2025: Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, ambiente familiare e cucina tipica casalinga, menù ricco, vario e a sorpresa ... Tutto buonissimo!
Quando ho chiamato per prenotare mi è stato detto: "C'è posto, ma dovrete accontentarvi di quello che c'è!" Allo chef consiglierei la prossima volta di aggiungere: " venite a stomaco vuoto"! 😊 Arrivederci, sicuramente torneremo, lo consiglio!
