The ambiance is very cozy and the service is very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the food, and the staff.

24/03/2026: I brought some American guests here and the experience was excellent. I was already familiar with the restaurant and it lived up to expectations. We ate very well, thanks in part to the invaluable advice from the very kind and professional waitress. All the dishes, including dessert, were truly delicious. The atmosphere is refined, beautiful, and quaint, and there's also the convenience of nearby parking. I definitely recommend this place!

31/03/2026: We were very hesitant to go to this place because of the Google rating, but since it was near our place of stay, and it is a family restaurant, which we really appreciate, we decided to take a chance... The environment is definitely not luxurious, but neat and clean. The guy who served us spoke English, which was also important to us. There were 7 of us, 5 adults and two children. The first evening we ordered Lasagna, Pizza, Grill plate, spaghetti carbonara and salad. The grill plate did not leave an impression, the lasagna and spaghetti were very tasty, and the pizza was PERFECT, the best we have ever eaten, and we have been to Italy 10 times already, so we have tasted a lot of pizzas. Thin crispy fresh base, no toppings on top, cheese is either too little or too much. The second evening we returned for pizza, one of us had gnocchi, the other spaghetti, the rest of us had pizzas. The pizzas are one better than the other, I also really liked the gnocchi, fresh and fluffy. My son had tiramisu, he said it was the best he's ever had. And we finished it all off with their homemade limoncello, which was truly the most delicious I've ever tasted. So if you want simple, fresh, delicious homemade food, without much luxury, this place is for you.
30/03/2026: Visited Italy numerous times, but pica in this place by my opinion was the best I ever tried. Sheff very charismatic person 🙂

04/08/2024: Twee nachten, lunch en avondeten het was allemaal top. Vriendelijk mensen en een leuke ligging. Heerlijke bedjes aan het meer en voortreffelijke zwemmen.
14/07/2024: Tutto perfetto: location, accoglienza, servizio, pulizia, qualità. Il risotto mantecato con pesce persico inimitabile , i dolci sopraffini. Tornati dopo qualche anno, non delude mai

23/09/2024: Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient. Gutes Essen bei sehr akzeptablen Preisen. Bei Tag eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf den See.
10/09/2024: Il locale, semplice, si trova accanto al santuario della Madonna della Caravina e dalla sua terrazza, dove trovano posto una decina di tavoli (è consigliabile prenotare), si gode di una vista sul lago di Lugano che a definire eccezionale è sin riduttivo.
Come se non bastasse, l'accoglienza è calorosa (anche se noi eravamo lì per la prima volta a differenze di altri commensali) e il cibo ottimamente cucinato. I piatti si possono ordinare alla carta o scegliere dalle proposte del giorno (un primo e un secondo ad euro 25). Noi abbiamo optato per il menù del giorno a cui abbiamo aggiunto un ottimo dessert.

11/08/2024: Bardzo czyste pokoje w pełni wyposażone i urocza właścicielka. Pyszne jedzenie i cudowne widoki. Polecam wszystkim. Napewno jeszcze tutaj wrócę. Zakochałem się w tym miejscu.
22/07/2024: Io e una mia amica ci siano recate questa mattina al caffè del Viaggiatore per la colazione. Ci siamo sedute al primo tavolo libero al sole. La persona presente al bar ci ha invitato in malo modo a spostarci, perché quel tavolo era riservato "ai suoi ospiti" (come se noi fossimo ospiti di serie b). Le abbiamo gentilmente fatto presente che non sapevamo fosse riservato, vista la totale mancanza di indicazioni e con maleducazione e aria di sufficienza ci ha risposto che era ovvio. Ha preso l'ordinazione in modo brusco e sbrigativo, informandoci che erano rimaste solo due tipi di brioche (alle 845). Quando ci ha servito, sempre in malo modo, la mia amica stava per spostare un giornale dal nostro tavolo per fare spazio alla colazione e lei le ha urlato di non appoggiare il giornale per terra, cosa che la mia amica non aveva alcuna intenzione di fare. Spiace per questa maleducazione e mancanza di gentilezza, perché San Mamete è un gioiello e la colazione in questo bar
discreta.
