18/07/2024: The two bald managers were extremely rude to my partner and I, and made a big fuss over us changing tables to watch the football game inside. Instead of explaining that we just needed to pay our previous bill first, they lied and said all the tables were reserved (even though you couldn’t reserve tables). They shrugged us off but luckily a lovely waitress let us pay our bill sit down inside. We ordered a pizza which was very mediocre and struggled to get served as the managers weren’t very attentive. When we went to pay our bill at the end they got our order wrong and tried to charge us €150 which we said was wrong, but they kept pushing for it and made us wait at the side without direction of what was happening. Whilst we were waiting one of the bald managers got into a fight with a customer over the fact he wanted to pay half in cash and half on card, and it ended with shouting and pushing. For the very below average food and poor service, this restaurant is not worth a visit and we will not be dining here again. I normally don’t write reviews, however, the way I was treated was so bad I felt I had to write something.

14/04/2024: Très mauvaise expérience mise à part le lieu nourriture, surgelée ou pas fête maison Assez cher, et surtout faites attention, la note ne peut pas être divisé prévoyez de l’espèce

20/07/2024: What a lovely evening. We did chose the mixed anti pasti and the typical dinner. Both will be served as a „family dinner“ from large cooking plates. It was excellent. A different experience from the usual restaurants in town. There is a little bit of view but don’t expect too much. Gracie mille to the nice and welcoming team.

03/07/2024: Here for week - first night a disaster as very noisy onto street and room a throw back yo 1980s - 2 star at best . Bathroom could not swing a cat . We moved room next day to front lake view ( had to pay a lot more ) , room very dated also and in attic of the hotel . At least quiet , and spacious and a decent shower . The whole place needs a serious upgrading . The outdoor area is lovely as are the staff , breakfast is average , lunch good . We would have checked out but for the location . It’s not a cheap hotel and not value for money .

12/08/2024: Too expensive compared to the quality. The food itself was okay but not outstanding. The drinks was expensive and some of the food tasted like it was taken from the freezer.

04/08/2024: The staff are horrible here i witnessed a family and a young girl get abused by the staff. The family were complaining about the food not being fresh which made a fight break out, the waitress physically hit one of her customers. Food was not good and way too expensive… makes sense why they have 2 stars. Please do yourself a favour go somewhere else.

21/09/2023: A lovely atmosphere, great food and service. Relaxed but a lovely way to enjoy an evening meal in Menaggio. Thank you to all the staff 👍

14/09/2023: Relaxed, friendly, delicious home-made food, great view. Fantastic all round experience. Definitely return when in Menaggio. Best food here.
