22/10/2025: We went to the Mandarin on Lake Como for an aperitivo, and the location is truly spectacular. It's a little hard to find, but the staff at the entrance were very kind and seated us even without a reservation. They took us down to the bar on a golf cart, so we didn't have to walk all the way down, which was really convenient. The view of the lake is breathtaking, the location is elegant, and the service impeccable. We had two glasses of Franciacorta, a focaccia, and some complimentary appetizers. We ended up paying around €25 each: a price in line with the exclusive setting, but absolutely worth it for the view, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

23/01/2026: Got into this place unexpectedly, so we didn't have a reservation. However the staff has found a nice place for us. The dinner was fabulous: fresh products, excellent blend of tastes. The dishes were served quickly. This restaurant is an exceptional combination of delicious food, service, fantastic venue with a lake view and overall good atmosphere. We didn't try their wine selection though, but I believe it will be worth your attention 😉

06/12/2025: The only good thing about this restaurant was the service. The food was absolutely tasteless. I felt like I was eating something that had been dragged across the floor and swirled nicely in the plate. Which was 20€ a plate. Absolutely insane for something that tastes like a toilet. Not to mention the sitting fee is 5€. For reference a sitting fee in Italy is normally 1,50€. We ordered the spaghetti with tomato sauce and the fettuccine. The spaghetti had a drop of tomato sauce at the bottom and the fettuccine was so bland. And not even all the service was good one guy who talked to us at first had such an attitude for what? My dad had kindly asked if they had pizza and the server said “this is an Italian restaurant”. Forgive me if I’m wrong but pizza is Italian. But thankfully other than the one guy everyone else was really nice. Before we left we wanted to use the bathroom but it was impossible to lock or unlock the door. We spent about 5 minutes each just to open and close a door. But if you like overpriced atrocious food and sitting next to cemeteries you will love this. In conclusion don’t wast your money here for absolutely trashy and tasteless food.
