21/08/2025: The food's quality doesn't reflect the price. The service is courteous, professional, and empathetic. As for the ambiance, you be the judge of whether, in 2025, a place with a long tradition of tourism can refuse dogs. I arrived yesterday, after making a reservation. Only at that location was I denied access to the dining room because I was bringing a ferocious Chihuahua. With pouring rain and a temperature of 18 degrees, we were seated outside, on tables and chairs that dried out unexpectedly. You be the judge...

15/08/2025: Restaurant waiters, asked for a medium steak and once I received the steak it was well done. When I confronted them about this issue she said it was medium and I should not complain. I told them I don’t want it and won’t pay for it and she told me I have to pay and she don’t want me coming back. I don’t recommend going here because staff is rude

23/07/2025: I didn't eat well; the whitefish was cold and the potatoes on top were raw! Cover charge was 4.00 per person and each bottle of water was 5.00! No, no, I don't recommend it!

23/07/2025: I ordered fried fish. Unfortunately, it came with a moldy lemon. I opted for a pizza instead, because there was a high risk I would get the same fish again. There wasn't even a shot of schnapps to help me decide. Not recommended.

14/07/2025: A quiet campsite right by the lake. The streamside is fabulous, but there are occasional loud nighttime parties at the nearby campsite on the other side of the stream. Delicious pizza in the restaurant, fresh bread in the morning. Clean but dated restrooms. A plus is that you choose where to camp; no one dictates. I recommend it.

08/07/2025: 2 stars for the location opposite the lake, the pool, and the politeness of the lifeguard. The rest... Between the toilet blocks, or at 42 years old, I think this is the second time in my life I've seen Turkish toilets (I didn't even think they still existed...). Let's not even talk about the showers: there are 4 showers in the men's toilet block, so you shouldn't arrive late, and especially not be a stickler for cleanliness... A small "hook" to hang your towel on, and a tiny, dirty shelf for everything else. The sinks, nothing to put your toiletries on, the faucets don't even hold. For the dishes, the same thing: all sinks side by side with no support to put anything on. We went to the bar for a drink, well, we tried, since apparently no one was in a hurry to serve us, so we left. The supermarket, 2 tiny baguettes, on a 10 note, change of €3.75... The rest apparently for the service?! The pitches, yes you choose, but all the pitches are muddy in case of rain. There are shaded pitches, but you shouldn't have a big campervan, because maneuvering is difficult, especially with those who park haphazardly. We had two evenings of rain, impossible to enjoy the outdoors because everything was waterlogged. In short, for my part, I will not come back, and I do not recommend it.

05/08/2025: A very nicely located bar and restaurant in the evening, right on the lake. Drinks were served quickly and were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the service was a bit distracted at times. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant.

01/08/2025: The restaurant is very large and was mostly empty. The coffee was by far the worst we had in Toscolano, so we didn't eat anything.

28/08/2024: Kyma was ONCE, with Renato and Sara! Don't eat pre-packaged Mulino Bianco brioches for breakfast.

26/08/2024: The location of the restaurant/bar is the venue's trump card. Overlooking the picturesque beach of Toscolano, 2 steps from the lake. The panoramic terrace offers a vision that alone is worth everything. Clean and welcoming place. Average traditional menu which is specifically designed to better satisfy the numerous German tourists and those of other nationalities... however nothing to say, well cooked. In the peak months it is best to book in advance to have a table on the terrace. Kind and attentive staff. Average prices for the place (Garda is certainly not a "cheap" location)
