01/12/2024: We arrived at 7pm on a pre-cinema evening. The place was overflowing with customers. We told ourselves that we would never be able to get to the cinema in time.....instead, thanks to a fantastic organisation, we were satisfied in less than an hour. Very good and kind. We tried the pizzas (an excellent San Lucio and an equally good Trevisana and scamorza - the Trevisana is a little burnt, but it doesn't matter). So two excellent desserts. The place is a bit noisy, but with that crowd there's little you can do! Next time we will try the Brasserie.

26/08/2024: I had dinner here but did not stay in the rooms. The dinner was excellent!!! I ate a spectacular polenta cusa!!! One of the best I've ever tasted. The tasting and crunchy vegetables are also excellent. Must try
25/08/2024: We had dinner at this very nice place with friends from the area. Very nice summer terrace. Pork with tuna sauce was good although personally I wouldn't have added anchovy which covered the excellent sauce and generous portion. Speechless for the Milanese. Perfect cooking and truly enjoyable. Congratulations to the 2 girls for the good service. Nice wine list with really reasonable prices. For 2 of us with a good bottle of champagne and 3 truly generous courses we spent 142 euros. Congratulations for a beautiful day. We will definitely see you soon when we are in the area. The best restaurant in the Seriana valley at the moment. Good job thanks see you soon

30/08/2024: We stopped for dinner and had a really good time. Fresh, well-prepared ingredients, friendly service and a relaxed environment
10/08/2024: Great place with traditional and modern dishes. Good value for money, we took two first courses, two starters, two waters, a coffee and spent €80. Friendly and helpful service. The only thing in summer is that sitting inside is a bit stuffy because there is no air conditioning or fan. But when booking they ask you if you want to sit inside or outside.

02/12/2024: For personal reasons we were passing through town and I checked the reviews of the place.
What can I say:
2 for lunch
I have Fusilli spech and saffron plus a skewer of mixed meat with polenta
She had an encore of first courses (fusilli plus pasta and beans), followed by carpaccio of tongue with potatoes
Both ending with homemade dessert and coffee
Only 12 euros excluding drinks
Large venue, excellent service, friendly staff with a smile
A truly relaxing environment for those arriving from big cities under stress.
We will definitely return as soon as possible.

03/11/2024: Locale posizionato sulla strada statale che porta ad un centro turistico importante come Clusone, ben visibile e con un parcheggio discretamente ampio, vicino a un camping. Ci siamo capitati per caso, attirati dal garnde numero di auto parcheggiate, attirati dalla convinzione che ciò fosse sinonimo di mangiar bene. Niente di più ingannevole! Il locale si presenta discreto, dotato anche di una veranda esterna. Essendo di passaggio si è optato per un menù turistico. Antipasto bergamasco discreto ma le note positive si fermano qui. Il primo, annunciato come tagliatelle coi finferli, si è rivelato essere una modesta pasta coi chiodini e per giunta nemmeno troppo saporita. Secondo piatto stracotto di cinghiale....ovvero 3 palline di carne (presunto cinghiale ma a mio parere manzo) con una cucchiata di pomodoro da pizza versata soopra e qualche patata al forno piuttosto sfatta. Lo stracotto è un' altra cosa... e il cinghiale pure.
Non abbiamo azzardato il dolce...
In definitiva si è mangiato tutt'altro di quello che ci si aspettava e per questo la recensione, purtroppo, non può essere che estremamante negativa.

06/07/2024: L’esperienza è stata negativa per 2 motivi: 1. un’attesa infinita (1h) per avere i piatti a tavola perché si sono persi il nostro ordine
2. La tagliata di roast-beef era immangiabile, dura e grassa
Unica nota positiva non ci è stata addebitata
Il piatto di verdure lesse e la polenta con uova e tartufo invece erano discrete.
22/06/2024: Il gatto e la volpe è un ristorantino in pieno centro storico Clusone, a due passi da piazza dell’orologio, ci siamo stati per quasi tutti i compleanni festeggiati quest’anno.
Abbiamo sempre prenotato andandoci di domenica a pranzo, antipasto con salumi misti e piadina calda, buonissima scelta fra primi e secondi con una buona bottiglia di vino e dolci semplici ma apprezzabili!
Prezzo coerente con la proposta! 😁👋
