02/12/2025: Sunday, November 30, 25. Arrived at 1:35 PM after visiting the sanctuary. Greeted with the most beautiful, heartfelt smile one could hope for, they set up a large walnut table for me, and we began with the drinks: given that I don't like the mayor's water, so I'll skip it, the wines... I don't like barrel-aged wines, not even a little, so the super-patient lady with a kind smile brings me four different bottles. I apologize, saying, ...if everyone did as I do, you'd still be serving appetizers to those who came in at noon. But you, imperturbable, with your serene smile, ...don't worry, take your time. Read the labels, in the end, none of them said anything about it, I skip the review (too often overused, inconsistent) and choose a red from the Roman hills... excellent!! The appetizers of the three, ...huh..?! . Another super accommodating lady gets me out of trouble... I make her a trio... the bread that the various delicious little dishes required, they were my downfall... but it was necessary, I forgot, I moved a beautiful bowl, generously filled with a beautiful Russian salad, I didn't want my tears to fall into it, sacrificed for the rest. I move on to the first course, fresh pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms and mushroom cream. A delight, it deserved more than a sandwich to go with it, I forced myself to say NO, to make room for..... But I can't take it anymore, ... I feel like crying at the three main courses, and at the delicious off-menu dishes... boned rabbit and lampredotto. I move on to the good coffee with a small bottle of house Amaro at my disposal. But I won't give up, I'll come back with more friends and we'll show them off....
24/11/2025: We attended our cousin Claudia's Confirmation, and what can I say? It was a family-friendly, well-maintained atmosphere. Compliments to Chef Giuseppe, who treated us to excellent food, from the appetizers to the cake, which was delicious! Compliments also go to Monica and the staff for their professionalism and dedication to the success of this party. The evening was then enlivened with music and songs... CONGRATULATIONS!

La Gare is a hidden gem nestled in Caravaggio, the surrounding areas include a relaxing walk along Santuario boulevard to the Sanctuary of holy virgin of Caravaggio. Mario, the Owner/chef will amaze you with outstanding top quality dishes. I recommend to try the “Carta Bianca” tasting menu for a full dinner experience, you will not forget it, it is worth every penny.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo scelto il Podere Montizzolo per il saggio di fine anno della scuola di musica del ns. paese. Ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Lo spazio è molto e ben gestito, il cibo veramente buono, il servizio perfetto. Staff disponibile e sorridente. E' stata davvero una bella festa!!
22/06/2025: Posto favoloso, stupendo per passarlo in compagnia, inoltre il sig.Fermo è stato gentilissimo sin da quando siamo arrivati fino ad andarcene, merita di essere p provato da tutti per un ottima giornata!

16/07/2025: Bellissima e diversa esperienza di un pranzo in cascina con amici.
Si compra la carne i salumi ed i formaggi nello spaccia del posto ,poi ci sono tanti gazebo di legno fornite di barbecue frigo tavolo e sedie fontanella separati gli uni dagli altri da siepi, legna x la brace e attrezzi x la griglia tutto fornito da loro, devi solo divertirti a cucinare la carne e assaporarla in questo splendido contesto verde, insieme ma divisi dagli altri ospiti.
Organizzata anche la gestione dei rifiuti.
Spazio con giochi per i bimbi,bagni e la possibilità di visitare le stalle dove ci sono parecchi animali, gioia x i bimbi.
Carne buonissima e salumi e formaggi fatti da loro che volendo si possono prendere anche da portare a casa.
Perfetto per passare una giornata come se si andasse in campagna .
Atmosfera nonostante il grande numero di persone tranquilla e non caotica festosa e molto informale.
Esperienza che consiglio a tutti e che rifarò sicuramente anche con la mia famiglia sopratutto per le nipotine

Bisogna prenotare per tempo
Si devono portare tovaglie e piatti posate e bicchieri insomma quello che serve come per un pic-nic
E per chi non vuole cucinare c è anche il ristorante che personalmente non ho testato.

12/01/2025: Il miglior agriturismo .Il nostro posto preferito. Cibo buonissimo, con antipasto vario,2 tipi di primi,tra cui ravioli fatti in casa,davvero ottimi,dopo il riso,o a porcini o di altro tipo,buono anche quello. Poi di secondo, brasato con polenta, poi altra carne con patate.Alla fine dolce,caffè, limoncello..Menù aggiornato 32 euro.Poi per i bambini fanno pasta al sugo e cotoletta. CHE DIRE:NON C'È POSTO MIGLIORE.!!Consigliatissimo!Noi torniamo sempre!

8 per il locale. Accogliente, rustico e molto gradevole. L’esterno un po’ abbandonato al tempo.
8 per il cibo. Buono il risotto con i funghi, buonissimi i casoncelli (peccato per la mancanza della pancetta…), buono il brasato con la polenta (peccato sia arrivato tiepido), non eccezionale l’arrosto di lonza, buone le patate. Nota di merito per la crosta di arance.
10 per il servizio. Gentilissimi.
Eccellente rapporto rapporto qualità prezzo. 30€ a persona, il bambino ha mangiato gratis.
Ci tornerei? Sì.
Lo consiglierei? Ovviamente sì.

06/01/2025: Oggi abbiamo festeggiato i 70 anni di mio suocero. Siamo stati non bene BENISSIMO!!! Abbiamo mangiato molto bene … il posto pulito e super accogliente. Il personale di sala top è il cuoco che dire fantastico. Un posto meraviglioso e ti senti a casa !!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff 💪

07/06/2024: Even though the bar is beautiful and well managed, you can see that they care about cleanliness, the two owners, clearly mother and daughter because they are identical, are very unpleasant, they barely greet you, I don't understand why this attitude, they make you want not to go there In fact I won't be going back again.
Answer: no I'm not confused, in fact other reviews confirm my same opinion.
