11/08/2024: My Gnocchetti al nero di seppia con capesante were fantastic. The pizza is nice, not my favourite type of dough though as I like napolitan type. My daughter's Margherita didn't taste only as mozzarella and tomato. It seemed that there was another cheese mixed with the mozzarella. The ambience indoor is very nice and stylish. The service was attentive and fast. Overall a good experience.
08/08/2024: I spent 80 euros to leave hungry, I asked for a fish dish without garlic, impossible to find on the menu. There is no sea view, we were at a table on the corner with the street. For that amount, it's worth going elsewhere for two dinners.
I add after reading the response below, that the rudeness of the comments alone, the inability to accept criticism as well.

27/08/2024: Preso il guazzetto di cozze, sapevano di escremento, con assume e il fritto misto e ci hanno portato il sale… perché pensavano non fosse salato.
Non fatevi ingannare solo perché la cuoca ha partecipato a cuochi d’Italia.

23/08/2024: All'ingresso delle grotte, tra ulivi e agrumi il personale ci accoglie, cortese , efficiente.
Ordiniamo un antipasto di mare , un tris d pesce ( ombrima eccellente !) , fritto misto e tagliolini con ricci di mare. Tutte le portate soddisfano la vista ed il palato. Serata pienamente riuscita .
Apprezzatissimo , da non perdere . Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo

22/08/2024: I ordered the cuttlefish with grilled vegetables: the quantity of the fish was paltry, as were the vegetables (4 thin slices of courgettes in a cross - not even half a courgette), which made me feel cheated.
Average starter.
What struck me about the dinner? Price too high compared to quantity and quality (being in Borgio Verezzi). At home I finished dinner.
05/08/2024: Good dishes, quality raw materials, the only flaw is staff who are not very attentive at the table.

16/08/2024: Mid-August dinner for six at the “Antica Osteria Saracena del Bergallo” in the magnificent village of Verezzi.
The quality of the cuisine and the service make it a sure point of reference in the catering of Western Liguria.
Among the dishes that excite, we cannot fail to mention, among all the delicacies that make up the rich menu that manages to satisfy any need or taste, the spectacular "Misto Marinati", the "Fassona steak cooked with a knife" and the "Catalana di Prawns ”.
The sympathy of Mr. Paolo and the magnificent location, with a breathtaking view of the gulf beyond Gallinara Island, are that plus that make stopping here to restore body and spirit particularly pleasant.
In conclusion, the "Antica Osteria Saracena del Bergallo" is truly a place of the heart.

29/07/2024: Both the beach and the restaurant were excellent!
Prices are regular, in step with current times.
Even though I don't own a dog, I appreciate the beach equipped for little furry friends.
The very nice restaurant, practically on the sea! Exquisite octopus and potatoes, like everything else.
The people who work there are also pleasant, thanks for the refresher!🤗
27/07/2024: Very friendly staff, delicious food, friendly atmosphere! I also recommend it because there is a choice for everyone, both fish and meat and normal prices!

20/08/2024: Our favorite restaurant of the holiday. Ate here 4 times.
The food is delicious and for little money. The menu is extensive, something for everyone.
The only downside is that staff show their frustrations among themselves in front of customers. The young man was always cheerful :)

Super vista sul lungo mare ligure.
Se siete a Borgio Verezzi oppure nei dintorni vi consiglio sicuramente un pranzo o una cena presso questa locazion.

19/07/2024: Dopo varie gestioni...finalmente quella giusta. Il locale è sempre stato molto bello. Ora ampliato aumentando i posti a sedere all'esterno. I cocktail sono buoni e sono accompagnati da un tagliere misto sufficientemente abbondante (per essere in liguria direi non scontato... patatine e 2 noccioline in genere) .
Camerieri gentili e veloci.
Ho solo.dovuto richiedere 2 volte le patatine ma il locale era pieno. Meno male che a Borgio c'è un locale per gli Aperitivi oltre a quelli sul mare stagionali.

Qualunque amico viene li con me rimane sempre piacevolmente sorpreso e ci ritorna!
Ampia scelta di cocktail , vini e birre..
Serviti con piatto aperitivo sempre diverso.
Taglieri con scelta di salumi e formaggi particolari serviti con miele e marmellate.
Possibilità’ di mega toast e tartare.
I Titolari Markus e Irene sempre molto affabili e cordiali.

20/08/2023: Ottime focaccia e vasta scelta; pane molto buono. C’è sempre molta gente, ma la coda è scorrevole. Prezzo un po’ alto, ma in linea con quelli locali. Commesse molto gentili, anche se risultano un po’ scocciate se si paga con carta facendo commento ed espressioni inappropriate, ma viene sempre accettata anche per pochi euro.
Complessivamente ottima esperienza.
