27/08/2025: Everything was perfect! The food was excellent, the quality and presentation top notch, and the environment very pleasant. Even though we are tourists and had a hard time with the menu, the staff was fantastic and helped us understand every option. The service was warm and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting!

04/07/2025: Perfect bar for breakfast, very popular with everyone. Good cappuccinos, large brioches, excellent pizzas. Perhaps the only problem is that you can't stay too long, the tables and space are limited.

All the staff are very welcoming, and customers are well looked after. In addition to the well-designed menu, this restaurant strives to ensure customers receive only the highest quality, freshest ingredients. For this reason, the prices are completely in line with the offerings. Ottone I was a truly wonderful discovery. Kudos to the entire staff, keep up the good work!

27/08/2025: Testaroli are raw and thin, like a crepe. The ones from the supermarket are better. The pesto is good. The octopus consists of a single tentacle on top of maybe half a tablespoon of potato puree. Not worth the price.

26/08/2025: I had lunch on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Hostaria Marcomando in Sarzana with my wife and a couple of relatives of our time. We arrived late, well after 2 p.m., but the owner was quick to welcome us. It was hot, but the narrow street in the center was breezy, and the umbrellas did their job. I ordered the testaroli because they're typical of the area, and I was right, as they were quite original. Usually, testaroli are very large, larger than a pizza, and are cut into squares, but these were whole, the size of a focaccia. Three testaroli, three different toppings, and a remarkable delight. I didn't order a second course because I don't like eating meat, even though I'm not vegetarian, so I ordered the green tagliatelle, cacio e pepe, with shrimp tartare. These were also phenomenal. So why four stars? Because the place, outside, was rather spartan. Hard chairs, set with paper placemats and napkins. Nothing wrong with that, because it's okay to be outside in the summer, but, in my opinion, they detract somewhat from the pleasantness of the experience. The interior is very nice and almost cooler. The bathroom is excellent, even with a window, which is a plus. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Since Sarzana, especially during the "La Soffitta nella Strada" event, is a little gem, I highly recommend both the place and the Ligurian town. Oh, and I shared my reviews with others, so you should know that I'm not just one, but four opinions at once. :D

14/08/2025: This restaurant serves good-quality fish and meat. The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but in keeping with the restaurant's style. The quality/price ratio is decent, and the service is generally good. A must-try for a dinner with friends.

07/08/2025: An experience definitely on the lower side of the rating. Appetizer: cold cuts were pretty tasteless and cut sloppy. the gricia never met its roman counterpart or something similar (do not take it), the lamb was the only positive notes cause also the roasted potatoes were pretty meh (and that’s difficult to mess up). Wine selection awful to say the least. To sum it up a Roman restaurant where Roman pastas are crap. If you can go elsewhere, if you got no chance go for a piece of meat and save your night from disappointment.

21/07/2025: Finally, some great focaccia in Sarzana! I searched for a long time, and then, through word of mouth, I finally found it. Always warm, freshly baked focaccia, and the friendliest service! Highly recommended!

20/08/2025: Every time we return, we can't miss an evening at Trattoria da Corrado. Excellent food; we had fish, always super fresh, and the price was more than fair for what we ate. Excellent service; the waiter, Anselmo, was super professional and friendly. If you're in the area, you can't miss lunch or dinner.
