06/05/2025: Recommended by the hotel manager we booked this restaurant. I have never eaten fish so well, all dishes prepared with care and delicious, especially for someone like me who isn't crazy about fish. The room was very welcoming and had an amazing view. Highly recommended!!!

02/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante che conoscevamo da anni. Purtroppo come ho letto in altre recensioni confermo che il personale crea un clima sgradevole e pertanto annulla tutti gli sforzi fatti dalla cucina per servire ottimi piatti che rimangono tali ma personalmente non vedevo l’ora di andare via. Tra l’altro ci siamo stati in un giorno non particolarmente affollato pertanto immagino che possa essere anche peggio nel fine settimana. Sperando che la situazione migliori auguro buon lavoro in quanto la stagione estiva è solo all’inizio e sarebbe un peccato per tutti coloro che trascorrono un periodo di vacanza cercando la spensieratezza e il relax trovarsi nuovamente immersi nei conflitti della quotidianità
02/06/2025: E’ un locale da consigliare ad Antonino Canavacciulo per le sue “cucine da incubo”! Abbiamo pranzato con dell’ottimo cibo ma purtroppo con disturbo continuo per litigi e urla tra il personale del locale disturbando tutta la clientela. La maleducazione ha avuto il top quando dopo aver pagato il conto l’ho detto alla Signora che con grande educazione mi ha risposto che potevo pranzare presso un’altro ristorante visto che c’è ne sono 4 . No comment

26/05/2025: I read the reviews and tried this restaurant: compliments to the chefs and the waiting staff. Excellent food, the spaghetti alla Claudio are special and the gnocchi are very tasty. The location is perfect. I highly recommend it 😊

The braids with cream and chocolate chips are a delight and so is the donut with cream.
Wonderful place. Too bad we were only there for 1 day.

09/05/2025: Restaurant set in an enchanting place, we had lunch by the sea, attached to the rocks. It's a wonderful setting, the staff is courteous and welcoming, the food is good even if overall that's not what matters. Super recommended!!!

04/05/2025: Nuova gestione per questo ristorante affacciato sul mare di Portovenere, sul canale che separa il borgo dall’isola di Palmaria. Ambiente curato sia nell’arredo che nelle luci. Eravamo in tre e abbiamo mangiato un ottimo risotto alla pescatore (due porzioni… peccato questa abitudine che sta prevalendo che è possibile ordinarlo solo per almeno due persone!). Davvero ricco e ben cucinato. Una porzione di alici marinate. Una porzione più che abbondante (infatti ci siamo fatti portare un piatto e l’ho diviso con mia moglie) dí pescato del giorno all’isolana (olive, patate e pomodorini), una cotoletta alla milanese (enorme, con patate di contorno), tre caffè, due liquori, due bottiglie d’acqua, tutto annaffiato con una bottiglia di vino delle Cinque Terre Sassarini, servito in cestello con ghiaccio! Prezzo finale (direi onesto, considerando qualità e abbondanza): 172€! Ci torneremo di sicuro e, se continuerà così, il Ristorante Iseo rientrerà tra i nostri preferiti!

09/05/2025: A real gem in a perfect location! The Doria Bar is an absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed yet first-class bar experience. The price-performance ratio is surprisingly fair for a tourist location, and the service is simply fantastic. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome from the first moment.
We were particularly impressed by the small but nice gesture: there were delicious snacks for free with the alcoholic drinks - a real plus! Despite numerous other bar visits in the area, we always ended up with André and his team because everything is just right here.
If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere, excellent service and fair prices, you should not miss the Doria Bar!
