31/10/2024: For those who know the Pia Centenaria in via Magenta in Spezia, I suggest you forget about this point of sale in Monterosso. At 1pm at the end of October, with a flood of tourists invading the town, we ate two skimpy slices of pizza from the day before, freshly reheated and the same goes for the farinata, without any filling and equally old, reheated and really unappetizing which we left. No other alternatives. Non-existent service, not even plastic knives, only forks and everything self-service. Only the price is a little higher than the other "Pia" in the neighboring area. Those who praised this manager leave me very perplexed, personally I can only advise against it, also given the countless offers available in Monterosso which are not even comparable.

30/12/2024: We were refused entry at 6:45 p.m. due to imminent closure... sure it's quiet in December but there were a few tables still occupied. Too bad not to be more commercial

21/10/2024: We found this ristorante in an alley in Monterosso and loved it. The service was excellent and the owner made us feel so welcomed explaining each dish. I ordered the seabass stuffed ravioli’s that were excellent in a light sauce with bits of calamari and shrimp. My husband ordered the spaghetti with fresh sardines with tomatoes and garlic. We loved our dinner and highly recommend this restaurant! Authentic, homemade fresh Italian food you shouldn’t miss.

21/10/2024: Encontramos este ristorante en un callejón de Monterosso y nos encantó. El servicio fue excelente y el propietario nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos explicando cada plato. Pedí los raviolis rellenos de lubina que eran excelentes en una salsa cítrica ligera con trozos de calamares y camarones. Mi marido pidió los espaguetis con sardinas frescas y pez espada con tomates y ajo. Nos encantó nuestra cena y recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante! Está dirigido por un marido y una mujer. Auténtica comida italiana fresca casera que no debes perderte.

17/12/2024: This place was one of our favorite dining stops in Cinque Terre! The restaurant was recommended to us from the place we were staying at (a Ca da Alba). Very charming place in the heart of Monterosso with outdoor seating. We wanted to try the pesto (the region is known for it) and anchovies and we were not disappointed! The anchovy appetizer was fresh and delicious. I do not like the way anchovies are prepared in the U.S. and this was a whole different experience. It was perfect with a little squeeze of lemon. We also loved our dishes. My husband got the local specialty trofie pasta with pesto- which was our favorite. I got the gnocchi pesto which was also very good. Overall, we really loved this place. A great local spot for Monterosso!

17/12/2024: Este lugar era una de nuestras paradas favoritas en Cinque Terre! El restaurante nos lo recomendaron desde el lugar en el que nos alojamos (a Ca the Alba). Lugar muy encantador en el corazón de Monterosso con asientos al aire libre. Queríamos probar el pesto (la región es conocida por ello) y anchoas y no nos decepcionó! El aperitivo de anchoa estaba fresco y delicioso. No me gusta cómo se preparan las anchoas en los Estados Unidos y esta fue una experiencia completamente diferente. Fue perfecto con un poco de limón. También nos encantaron nuestros platos. Mi marido consiguió la especialidad local pasta trofeo con pesto - que era nuestro favorito. Tengo el pesto de ñoquis que también era muy bueno. En general, nos encantó este lugar. Un gran lugar local para Monterosso!

04/12/2024: Totally disrespectful waiters, total disinterest in trying to make us comfortable or stay when they realized we were going to leave and go to another restaurant. Rude, irresponsible, amateur waiters. The restaurant next door, "Moretto" totally opposite. Stay away from Restaurante Ciak!!!

22/11/2024: Gran experiencia junto a la mesa sirve muy generosos servicios en ollas de arcilla chispeante, volvimos 2 noches seguidas! Muy frescos mariscos y platos de pasta tradicional probamos la pasta boloñesa, músculos mariscos y los raviolis de langostinos todo increíble y el tiramisú fue el mejor que hemos tenido en Italia. 10 / 10

03/01/2025: Siamo contentissimi di aver scoperto questo magnifico ristorante. Alessio e Desirèe sono davvero gentilissimi e la cucina è ottima! Vi consiglio di passare a trovarli.

01/01/2025: Capitati per caso, abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Personale gentilissimo, sono veloci e i piatti sono ottimi, dalle pizze al pesce (non abbiamo fatto in tempo ad assaggiare la carne perché ci siamo fermati solo due giorni). Lo consigliamo sicuramente.

10/10/2024: Tiny trattoria, big flavors. Expect a lot of anchovies on the menu and a tight selection of local flavors. Went here two nights in a row, ate nearly everything on the menu, and couldn't have been happier. Try the linguine with anchovy and the seafood soup. Thank me later. (End with a locally-produced limoncello, if they have some!)

09/10/2024: Really bad food and service, please save yourself and don’t go! Told the lady and “chef” and they said "we don’t care” shrugging their shoulders. Tasteless, poor value for money, terrible service.

12/11/2024: Gran lugar para los mariscos. Nuestro hotel reservó esto para nosotros y estuvimos agradecidos después de un día de viaje para llegar a Monterosso. Disfrutamos de los mejillones rellenos y camarones. El servicio fue genial. Lo recomendaría.

24/10/2024: El pescado del día fue excepcional. La pizza era buena, pero la corteza estaba un poco empapada debido a los hongos. El servicio fue excelente
