09/11/2024: I was amazed to finally find an ice cream shop that was right for me. Unfortunately I have intolerance and allergy problems, so I could no longer eat ice cream. Today, I enjoyed it. Recommended for diabetics, intolerants and vegans. The next time I return to Taggia, I already know where to go. The lady was very kind

06/01/2025: Luckily we found a parking space nearby because getting there given the restricted traffic zone is not easy, but a nice location, on the sea where there was a bit of life compared to the sadness of the rest of the country.
Small tables, but clean.
Fairly average prices (€25.60 for 4 people to eat focaccia, a slice each, with 4 drinks!).
Mediocre focaccia/pizza, reheated then crunchy than normal and the natural one nothing special. The only doubt is that they cannot serve focaccia with sausage, radicchio and gorgonzola without telling you that there is gorgonzola, because things change a lot!
Focaccia eaten in Liguria does not at all correspond to the typical Ligurian focaccia, which is usually greasy, soft and super appetizing. I don't think I'll ever go back!

10/02/2025: Everything perfect, clean rooms and tidy and fragrant bathroom, very central location and convenient limited parking
of the hotel.
Breakfast is not buffet. It's to be decided the night before... a croissant or rusks or a slice of focaccia... but in any case everything is good.
02/11/2024: Very clean rooms and pleasant staff. The hotel's WhatsApp is very responsive. There's a small parking lot with a few spaces reserved for the hotel (about 8), otherwise you have to park outside (easy in October for us). The common areas are clean. There's no elevator, but the three floors were easy to climb. No air conditioning, but not a problem in October. The location is central, with all amenities nearby, but this causes a lot of noise pollution (motorcycles, ambulances, people shouting, etc.), and the hotel is generally poorly soundproofed. I could even hear the alarm clock from the next room and all the hallway noises. However, the bedding is very comfortable, and we had booked a last-minute night to go to Triora for Halloween (a 40-minute drive), so it was a great help.

In summary, the restaurant offers a good quality dining experience, with interesting dishes that will satisfy the most demanding palates, but the slightly high prices and service that needs improvement may discourage some customers. If you're willing to spend a little more for good food and are looking for a quiet atmosphere, it might still be worth a visit.
18/01/2025: New top management, very kind and professional, the place has completely changed and the menu too, the Roman first courses are excellent, the fish is very fresh and cooked in an excellent way, the pizza is very good, the quality is right for the price. We were 8 people and we were all enthusiastic. You have resurrected the Roma! We will definitely be back!

08/02/2025: Il signore non effettua pagamenti con POS (ricordo che è obbligatorio, ma nonostante questo si rifiuta di spendere due spicci in più), inoltre non fa gli scontrini (prima di rivolgermi qua a fare una recensione, l’ho già ripreso punteggiando questi suoi comportamenti illegali, ma a distanza di un mese ho notato che non ci sono stati cambiamenti). Mi chiedo, dobbiamo arrivare al punto di mandarti la finanza????
Per non parlare del suo comportamento menefreghista e frettoloso. Completamente bocciato.
Riguardo le sue pizzette e focacce, non è la prima volta che mi capita un pelo!! Gravissimo.

26/08/2024: The best place you can find in western Liguria! Everything top, food amazing, helpful and friendly staff, strategic location, free car parking offered by the hotel, the owner is really available for every need!
13/08/2024: Clean and comfortable room, friendly and kind staff available, non-existent daily menu, occasional menu taken with pen and paper without a clarification of the menu, the only dish available every day, lunch and dinner, potatoes made in every way. We brought forward our departure by 4 days, with this I'll end the discussion... I wish you all a happy holiday

03/09/2024: The food was good. But nothing special. The waitress was charming and very friendly. Unfortunately, the Padrone reacted rudely when ordering, when 6 or 4 of us ordered food at 2 p.m. when the restaurant was almost empty. He thought we didn't understand him. Afterwards we ordered some parmesan to go with gnocchi al pesto, which is never a problem in Italian restaurants. After asking three times, the waitress apologized, it was clear that she wasn't allowed to bring anyone!! We wanted 6 more loungers and 3 parasols, but unfortunately not anymore. And we won't set foot in it for the next two weeks! I then tried to communicate with the boss, but she didn't want to see anything. She even allowed herself to be denied in advance as boss.
Coperto was of course billed for 6! What a shame!☹️
01/09/2024: Dimanche en famille avant la rentrée la plage est belle et le matériel propre, par contre nous avons dû retourner tous nos plats de poisssos les frito misto ainsi qu une assiette de mélange de poisson car tout était simplement pas frais.
J’ai bien sentie une odeur bizarre qui m’a un peu inquiété comme un genre de marée pas propre ou de toilettes sales vous voyez le genre !
Du coup appréhension, mais l’instinct ne trompe jamais c’était immangeable !
On fini par faire goûter au serveur mais lui trouve cela normal ce goût de pas frais mélangé à du parfum…
Bref on a fini avec des spaghettis à la tomate histoire de ne pas être malade 🤢
Conclusion ça nous a bien gâché la journée c’est la fin de la saison et ils veulent peut être vider leurs frigos et cette mauvaise foi c’est pas possible, bien sur ils ne nous ont pas facturé.

19/08/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una serata perfetta con una cena impeccabile a base di piatto di pesce! Un risotto alla pescatora spettacolare che non mangiavo da molti anni, un pesce spada freschissimo e abbondante! Il tutto gestito da una responsabile di sala gentile e molto efficiente !

03/09/2024: Un meraviglioso angolo di Sicilia dove vi servono tipiche brioche col gelato da sogno cassate siciliane granite e tante altre tipiche prelibatezze
