11/05/2025: Che dire Massimo dei voti. Ottimi piatti cucinati e presentati molto bene, l’ambiente è curato e il servizio attento al punto giusto. L’unico neo è il prezzo della picanha indicato all’etto che non è stata pesata e comunicato, mettete direttamente il prezzo del piatto nel menu( non ho segnalato in cassa ). Il giorno dopo a pranzo avremmo voluto replicare con una pinsa, ma purtroppo non le fate a pranzo che peccato!!!

18/04/2025: It is very nice small restaurant in the center of the village close to the embankment and beaches. We liked the hosts and food. It was simple but not trivial. Especially the starter with pouched egg in asparagus soup and topinambur shavings was surprising and delicious. The set amuse menu of 40 euro consisted of four meals and was good enough to fill but not heavy. We liked the way hosts took care of us, smiling but not familiar, attending right on time. Wine card was good selection of Italian classics with average price at 20 euro a bottle. We found fresh and delightful 2018 Muller Thurgau which is not an easy trophy elsewhere. The bill was satisfying and tip was highly appreciated. Would recommend the place and reservation sounds a must during the high season.

19/04/2025: Found by chance, it remains outside the classic tourist tour of the seafront promenade but the Tuscan restaurant is worth a detour. We had a fish-based lunch and it was all excellent. Very nice waiter. Not to be missed

29/04/2025: Locale piccolo ma accogliente. Ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio ed il menù del giorno comprendeva dei piatti particolari, ma che incuriosivano per gli ingredienti e le combinazioni. Infatti ho assaggiato degli ottimi ravioli con il polpo, mentre le persone con me erano entusiaste dello stocco con patate e olive presentato a regola d'arte e cucinato con amore. I profumi dei piatti erano quelli tipici di una lunga tradizione. Se siete di passaggio per Arma di Taggia, andate sicuri in questo piccolo grande ambiente. Anche la pizza di cui abbiamo assaggiato la schiacciata con rosmarino era davvero buona. Saluto i due giovani ragazzi che si davano un gran da fare e soprattutto, quello che si è presentato a me che sono un chitarrista, come convinto batterista. A presto, senz' altro.

22/04/2025: I’ve walked by this waterfront restaurant many times, opting instead for one of the less expensive options on the place. I was wrong. Their fare was average, while this place is truly a cut above. Service was friendly and available in several languages (I speak English, French and Italian, the hostess and the server spoke all 3, and quite well). On this rainy Wednesday in April, we were seated next to the window, the sea was steps away. Thus, the service and the setting were perfect. Now for the food. Playa Manola specializes in seafood and fish. Being allergic to shellfish, I opted for the Gnocchi with swordfish. My companion had the Octopus with super thin sliced baby artichokes, currently in season. Both dishes were spectacular, my gnocchi surprised me with the richness of the sauce, not at all “fishy”, just flavorful. The artichokes have become my new favorite way to eat artichokes. I recommend 100%, this is now my go-to restaurant in Arma di Taggia.

03/05/2025: Very clean and welcoming place. The furniture recalls the industrial chic style and is well distributed. The staff is very kind and present, they advise and propose alternatives in a truly hospitable way, with a smile. We consumed very well-measured cocktails, selected fortified wines and impeccably plated pastries. We were a group of six people plus a little girl: they added details and attention to our service which made the after dinner experience a truly pleasant moment. I absolutely recommend it.

07/04/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questa osteria al ritorno da Montecarlo ed è una piacevole esperienza: location curata, personale attento, cibo buono e ben presentato. Il valore aggiunto è rappresentato dall’attenzione e dalla vasta scelta culinaria per chi, come me, deve mangiare senza glutine. Ho mangiato una delle fritture più buone degli ultimi anni! I dessert tutti speciali e degni di nota!

12/01/2025: Petite trattoria sympathique située dans le joli vieux village. L'ardoise est courte et les produits sont frais et faits maison. Prix très abordables mais en secondi piatti nous avons pris une brandacajun délicieuse mais trop juste en quantité (juste comme un antipasto) et un lapin à la ligure servi dans un minuscule plat doré très kitsch : très bon mais un peu juste car aucun contorno ne nous a été proposé. Les desserts sont délicieux : crème brûlée maison et meringata et brioche pain perdu. Vin Pigato blanc très bien mais un peu cher (30€). Accueil et service pas très souriants mais efficaces.

25/04/2025: Unfortunately disappointing…. I ordered a seafood appetizer asking what it was made of (as it is not indicated on the menu) and it was not explained to me accurately. Among the tastings there should have been a tuna tartare, which never arrived, and what had been explained was not correct. The fried food was okay overall although not a large portion. Overpriced in my opinion

06/04/2025: Popular place in summer. This evening I had two pizzas at the table. I was disappointed for the not indifferent price I received one with mozzarella and stracchino with spek. The cheese was fake. It didn't melt. The other had raw sauce without any seasoning I found the pizzas expensive and ugly to look at. No reception from the staff. The summer trend is very different. Left 40 euros for two pizzas, two coffees, 2l water and 250mg of loose wine
